Okay, so I came back after not playing for a little bit (about a month and a half), and now, unless I put my game into windowed mode, everything is slightly blurry/pixelated. I googled this issue, and all I could find was people saying to adjust the resolution until its clear again, but after going through every single resolution, the best one is still noticeably blurry. Additionally, whenever I attempt to screenshare over discord or take a screenshot, everything looks normal and clear when it very much is not. Has anybody experienced this or know a fix for it?

Pretty much… If it hunts after 60 seconds, demon, if it hunts after 90 seconds, it’s a regular ghost, if it hunts after 3 mins, likely a spirit, but not always guaranteed. Always good to test at least twice

Common misconception, mylings are a nuisance to test for. Pretty much, if you only hear it as ur equipment starts bugging, it’s a myling.

I’ve had many mylings that have been rather vocal, so make sure to test thoroughly

Besides the smudge test, spirits have nothing else worth noting about them. They’re pretty plain Jane ghosts.

“Territorial” isn’t really a thing for them - just flavor text if it still exists anywhere (can’t remember what the journal says about them at this moment)

Whenever I get an ‘escape ghost’ objective I tend to pick a room that isn’t the ghost room, have a crucifix on the floor with me, a smudge in hand and my flashlight on. The ghost will come to me when it detects the electronic, and then I turn off the flashlight, smudge and run off to hide

A shade, as long as the ghost room hasn’t changed, cannot blow a candle out whilst you’re within its ghost room. If the ghost room changes, then yes, it can, because you’re not within its favourite room anymore.

Why do you think that’s possible. Go on, since you’re so clever, explain to me how the shade managed to do that? Well, because the tier three has a larger interaction range, and since the candle wasn’t positioned properly, and its range was OUTSIDE THE GHOST ROOM, it was able to do smth it normally can’t do.

for mylings i usually go by if i cant hear them but my flashlight is freaking out. i dont think thats the full range but it gives me an idea. it can make it so i confuse it for yokai but i always play on 2/3 ev so yokai isnt even usually an option by that point anyway

Personally I used tier 2, slows it down enough for the ghost photo but also sends them into the other direction. Completely personal preference

Ghost is fast. you are not. it will run away from you

None, tier 1 is better. With how fast the ghosts are and how slow you are, you want them to keep the momentum and hopefully run in a random direction that’s away from you. Since they’ll carry so much speed, the distance they’ll travel will be further than if you used tier 2 or 3.

I tried apocalypse with tier 3 but I got a rev the third time and I missed all 6 photos I took from adrenaline and it caught me off guard and I dropped my camera instead of the burnt smudge

Happens. Tier 1 or 2 is good considering you’re slow, ghosts are very fast. Whatever you find is easier, obviously use. I pretty much only used Tier 2 because I just rolled for ghosts that weren’t too far away, and I could easily hide again if required.
