If you put an emf on the pc and it freaks out whilst you are looping benches it could be a raiju or rajiu mimic

I would say know your escape route and where you plan to hide. When you smudge, smudge further from that hiding spot to decrease chances of ghost finding you in the spot

Smudge only blinds it for a couple seconds so if you still have a flashlight on ect. As soon as it’s no longer blinded it will keep going and smudge doesn’t guarantee it roams away from ya I believe lol

Myling test is pretty straight forward if you camp near stairs. Camp where you're a decent ways away from the stairs. If you don't hear it before it reaches the stairs but immediately hear it on the stairs... myling (: (some room for error... gotta know a vague idea the range)

Yeah I always have trouble discovering a Yokai without all three evidence. I'm not too familiar with it as I started playing Phas long before even the Deo was announced, and then after the big update hit I stopped playing for a while and now I have a lot to learn again.

Mimics are my favorite ghost, but they are rather easy to identify. One change i would suggest is that mimic not be limited to not just fake orbs for their ability. For each map that has a mimic, create one fake evidence (not just orbs). For example, one map, it could be fake dots. Another map, fake emf 5. It would remain that fake one evidence for that mission. That would make it a little more difficult, and interesting. Just having fake orbs, makes it too easy in my opinion.

thats why it was so confusing.. but i think i fixed it - maybe.. my Steam always starts in administrator mode / with admin rights and I changed that, so its not starting with admin rights anymore and now it seems to work with Windows as voice rec ... but dont ask me why, especially since starting Steam with admin rights also is a tip to try out to fix such things ._.

If the ghost has it as evidence, yes. Only exception is Obake, who sometimes has a chance to not show fingerprints/handprints/foot UV, sometimes shows regular UV evidence, and occasionally shows a special 6-finger handprint

Twins have two different speeds across multiple hunts depending on if it’s the “fast” twin or “slow” twin. It’s not a huge difference but it’s noticeable enough.

Moroi gets faster the lower your sanity is. So if you’re low/0 sanity and Ghosty boy is suddenly Lightning McQueen during a hunt, most likely a moroi

I do think phasmo works well on standard settings. Its just kinda ehh on like 12x or beyond. Then its like 150 thayes are zooming so fast I don't think the game is garanteed to register them stepping on things. Though I think I saw a video of a 150 thaye get looped with nothing. Which is super cool. Because their strides are so long the player just moved in a small circle and every stride way over took them, missing.

Me reading the wiki on cameras to figure something else out and reading more into the camera bug since I saw it. I know staff on here was saying all cameras were bugged, but the wiki does indicate only the T1 was. And at such an odd time it had to remain in your hands after pic to not get bugged. Why 2.13 seconds. But that 1000% makes sense why they force T1 to remain in your hands being unable to do anything for 3 seconds now. Since its a little over 2 for the bug.

Also if the wiki is right, thats why I would have never even noticed the cam bug, since my friends and me cycle our resets so someone always has at least T2.

But if thats not right someone should updatye wiki I think if it was all cameras.

I do think the wiki one is the one everyone talks about where because T1 made the player "electronic" only when you took a pic and if you swapped it, it kept you electronic, if you did not wait the timer out before doing so. Because if the camera was not still in your hands to run the code to remove the players "electronic" status. So you could only remove it by taking another pic and having the code to remove the status run then.

Man I code and I am trying to think how they did cameras now to have that be an issue. I guess the status of being electronic must not be tied to player but the items. If it was tied to player then it should clear. I guess the issue is item code only runs and updates when out. So if the T1 camera was swapped before the full code could run, it would retain the status. But then... if item code is not running when in offhand and not tied to player how would it still keep the player electronic.
