At a close distance, the ghost becomes visible. When the song ends, player holding box has 0 sanity or the ghost reaches the box a cursed hunt starts. If no one is in the house no cursed hunt occurs, but subsequent hunts are longer (iirc)

Hantu don't move like that. Hantu are fast in cold areas (generally their room) and slow in warm areas (if the breaker is broken, pretty much nowhere). Hantu are one of the few ghosts that do not speed up with line of sight. The demon didn't speed up after you hid, the demon sped up while you were going to hide.

I watched it 5 times, it hit top speed around the time you got behind the couch. Ghosts take some time to return back down to their normal hunting speed after having direct line of sight with a player. There's no way to tell it was a demon with this clip, but I would definitely not cross it off the list. Think of going into hiding more so as starting to let off the accelerator of a car, you are not necessarily slowing down yet, just slowing the rate at which you are speeding up. After a while friction forces start to slow you down, and your actual speed starts to decrease. I think you looked at that small moment in time where you "let off the accelerator" and misjudged what was happening.

We have an answer for you in #phasmo-chat the Twins only checks crucifix in range of the ghost's position but then it either hunts from ghost position or twin position. In this case, the ghost was outside of your crucifix range but the twin was right on top of your crucifix and the hunt was able to bypass it.

When a ghost sees a target it doesn’t stop hunting that target UNLESS you happen to be so close to it or they lost LOS. That goes with all ghosts not just Rev. When you turned on the flashlight after it has left the room to the garage it sensed your friend more rather than you.

I didn't want to report it as a bug if there is a reason behind this that I'm unaware of, unless someone tell me that it's a bug, then I would go and report it as a bug. So this is the Twins, Edgefield, ghost room the Nursery, teammate used Voodoo to force a hunt, and it is indeed the Slow Twins, we were playing on Nightmare so I'm at this distance to test for Jinn since we had EMF 5 and Freezing only, and indeed it wasn't Jinn, but what bamboozled me was, it came downstairs, and saw me first, teammate is in dining room, and it didn't increase LoS speed up when it saw me there, and it went straight to Dining room toward teammate instead of coming straight at me because it saw me first and locked on me maybe, we were like 'why is it acting like a Banshee and ignored me ' but is there a reason for this behaviour?

Hmmmm…. If you and your teammate had both your flashlights on. It would go with the one that is closer to the ghost. If your teammate didn’t have any electronics to attract the ghost then yeah it should’ve came after you.

Hmm alright I will ask him tomorrow, he is sleeping now, I just replayed the video and looked at the left where teammate was at, and didn't see any brightness like, his flashlight beaming through the floor, nothing. He usually play without flashlight but I will ask him tomorrow and double check

Also I am not sure how far 20m is so it could be possibility that you are standing as far as 20 m from the ghost to consider the flashlight or LOS to trigger.

Yeah, I don't know, I find this distance is normally good for Jinn test since any shorter, like, stairs to living room, isn't long enough for Jinn test, so this was perfect and I was doing Jinn test, as well as Oni blinking testing cus ghost was very active with events. I don't know what 20 metres looks like on Phasmo, Edgefield corridor. Maybe someone who know numbers, knows and can tell us?
