At the moment this place is practically unvisited except for quests. I propose reducing the chance for two items, Magician Boots and Light Sword, drop chance to green. Adding two/three items worth 20/30k with a chance of blue and purple. This way the place would become more attractive.

Although they just drop trashy items, that hunt is actually quite profitable, because the trashy items worth some relevant amount and drop quite often.
I don’t think a change is necessary as the hunt is being quite profitable especially considering also skins, pearls, tidecut shards, bloom, Stillwater shells, etc… no reason for change

Either because one is not on task or is afraid of death, or both, that’s what keep people away from it. They can hunt more safely elsewhere.
@granite nova comparing server rates makes no sense on this case, what you do is to compare the profitability of the hunting spot vs. other hunting places around same lvl.
You realize that even though dropping trashy items, the profitability is not so bad comparing to other rsps around same lvl.
