For now, I can write up what I know about power geyser and buster wolf combos:
The easiest power geyser combo is up tilt > power geyser. Power geyser is a deceptively weak kill move, being very heavily affected by how the opponent DI’s. If you catch them off guard, or on a platform, this combo can kill extremely early. If they’re ready for it though, even lighter characters can live till ludicrous percents by holding down and away from the direction power geyser sends.
Buster wolf
the three most common combos into buster wolf are
- Down tilt > jab 1+2 > buster wolf
- Forward tilt > buster wolf
- Down tilt > buster wolf
The use of the down tilt in the first combo is to pop the opponent up just enough to make the combo true (jab jab buster wolf is not a true combo on its own, if the opponent holds shield while getting hit by the jabs, their shield will come out and the buster wolf will not connect).
The second combo is a great way to rack up damage at low to low mid %’s, it does about 40%. Be wary that if the opponent DI’s up, the buster wolf may not connect after the ftilt. This one is best used at the ledge at about 50-60% when you have a lot of rage, it can kill extremely early.
Down tilt buster wolf is the only 100% true combo out of these three, but requires some fast execution to get it.
For the input execution, unfortunately, there isn’t any way to avoid the inevitable: it just takes a lot of practice and reps until you get the feel for it, and it will eventually become second nature.
For Terry, ryu, and Ken, since they all share many of the same inputs for their moves, I’d recommend slowing the game down in training mode to get the motions down at a slower pace, then speeding it up once you feel like you’ve got it. I’d also recommend using the A button for all your input moves, so that way you know you are getting it right, as opposed to the special move variants of moves like hadoken or burn knuckle.
