so the main thing that I noticed during those 2 games is that there were a lot of moments where you trying to be aggresive in disadvantage which is something you just can't do when you're getting juggled or comboed with dedede

#

you have to play much more reserved than most characters because of your big hurtbox and slow frame data

#

so you should 99% only be jumping or airdodging when you're getting juggled

#

also going to ledge in those situations is usually a really good option

meaning you can't directly punish it, however, you can most likely introduce a form of RPS

you can have a variety of options that you do after that are all threatening and beat different roy options

for example, I like to mash after jab because I know that you like to shield after, if you instead did grab out of shield (when I'm right next to you) or full drift nair that would beat any of my mashing options

if the roy likes to shield after jab, you can do dash grab or even empty hop grab

it's a lot of adapting based on what your opponent likes to do after a common situation

this applies to a ton of matchups with things like cloud back air or kazuya electric on shield

yeah with cloud bair it's the same thing, you want to see what he likes to do after he hits the bair on shield, you could even get "punishes" despite the fact that it's unpunishable

however a way simpler thing I noticed is that you tend to commit to ledge options way too hard

in the past 2 games you did jump getup 23/27 times

#

and the other 4 were roll

so you're cycling which option you're hard commiting too

so I would heavily reccomend trying to be more concious of what you're doing off of ledge and keeping it tricky so I don't get free bairs or f smashes

you also don't have to always commit to something after jump get up

you have like 6 jumps, you can do any amount of fastfalling and double jumping and juke me out with your timing

you can either mixup your landing with an aerial or you can just fastfall airdodge

you have a ton of options off of ledge and you're restricting yourself to jump nair and neutral b

#

I would mixup your airdodges more/don't always directional airdodge

#

roy is fast enough to just react and punish you for it

so sometimes do nair or just neutral airdodge

or jump away

there were a few times during our session where I could've killed you super early for it but didn't because I was focused on testing other things with your gameplay

It depends what you want him for but cloud is a super low maintenance character to secondary so it would be hard to not recommend him
