I’ve refined my idea about NFC music player with this project. Someday in 2022 I’ve contributed to Adonno tagreader project to make it work with playlist urls stored on tags. Well, this is a complete redesign of the device and the code. TagTuner is not that impressive as esp device but it blends the experience with ESPHome, Home Assistant and Music Assistant to make it all work together.

Believe me, try and error process was not that fast 😅 But pn532 is rated to read the tags at 5-7cm so this placement has quite good margin. And it’s true some cards work only one way and not upside down 🤷‍♂️

I've just pushed changes to make this firmware compatible with Adonno tagreader so if you so happen to have one, you can switch to this automation and start using MAss library with NFC discs/cards

ble proxy included on board (since it's already working 24/7)
Blueprint automation: you can choose if removing the tag stops playback or not
