Now it's Koala Satellite. 🙂
Hey bro, how are you doing? do you know any yaml to have my respeaker lite boards working with sendspin?
Hey!
Official Respeaker Lite integration and satellite YAML work with Sendspin now.
Great, thanks my friend.
Hey folks anyone else had their seed respeaker refuse to comp like on most recent update to ESP home?
Make sure you have latest YAML. There were breaking changes.
Thanks for reply man. Is that yours or the seed one? I tried yours earlier I think and I had issues with the 16khz to 48khz…
Mine. It works on all 5 of my devices 🙂
16/48 is the matter of including my branch for respeaker_microphone into external component, since there;s single I2S bus for mic/speaker and they both can use one sample rate. So I artificially redice 48kHz from Respeaker Lite to 16kHz acceptable by voice assistant.
So it works with 48kHz for music.
That’s perfect. Will find that tomorrow. I probably did something wrong! Thanks for all your stellar work.
Hey folks, trying to distract myself from World War 3... Hope all are safe and well.
Is this the most recent yaml?
Sill having issues compiling this!
Didn't want to dump lines of errors....
any input appreciated from you all!
So I took out mww block and it compiled.
Your base YAML validates and builds on 2026.2.2 if I comment out the entire micro_wake_word block. With it included, I get not a valid value on the whole component. Everything else compiles fine. Have you tested on 2026.2.2?
Cheers!
I just rebuilt fully both Respeaker and Koala on 2026.2.2. Both work as-is.
I recommend deleting .esphome caches directory and restarting addon/container. It sometimes caches some old libraries.
Thanks man. Thats really helpful. I’ll try that tonight.
Is the PayPal on your GitHub working? I’d like to buy you a beer/Coffee.
The clean all button should do that.
Yeah I’d tried that. Restarted too. On the correct firmware. Gonna strip out all my custom wake words and keep it simple. Then build them back in. Thanks guys.
For me it doesn't always do that for some reason.
