Battery connection and disconnect isn't final yet and also only 24V, so no hazard touching them.

The inverter for my solar panels used a dongle based on an esp32, so I just had to convert it. 🙂

Nice. I did a similar thing to my Sunsynk dongle, running an ESP32-C3-Mini. Not entirely convinced it was a smart idea, as this disconnects me from the vendor cloud, meaning I can no longer get firmware updates for my inverter. That said, if it aint broke, don't mess with it, and I am not having any problems that might require an inverter firmware update, so ...

Did you at least take a backup of the vendor firmware before overwriting it?

Yes, I got a copy of that too 🙂

Nice dashboard for it too 🙂

The new Sections mode is so much easier to use. Still, all my dashboards are just generic looking.

FWIW, there is a "sunsynk" card in HACS that has some nice features. Not necessarily specific to Sunsynk inverters, although some of the parameters refer to a sunsynk modbus register number for clarity.

I like that "Pool" is considered "Essential" in that diagram 😅

Well, it is powered from the inverter, while other heavy loads (oven, underfloor heating) are poowered directly from the grid.

It's not strictly essential, as I have a smart relay controlling it, so can easily adjust the length of time it runs (if it runs at all)
