I have build low cost heating system for a small church. They use a online system that is synced with homeassistant. When somebody books a room it will heat only that zone. We have 2 gas boilers to heat up the building and multiple temperature sensors around the building. After some days fine tuning it works perfect!

I just use relays to switch on or off a room. I cannot power a room for like 40%
