Even easier in the newer ones, they either got an esp8266 in, or a tuya module which share the same size and pinout as an ESP12

I did this one this morning for my 7yr old, took about 30 mins, still need to mess a little with the motor frequency as its a bit juddery when really slow. but still, having that extra layer of control over a 7yr is always a good thing 😄
