Stabling sensors built at terminal stations are not applying their shunting commands to regional trains completing a leg at the station, nor are they being reversed.
Manually reversing and shunting the trains works as expected.
The train not reversing seems to only a problem if a departure sensor is also built on the platform.
I have not yet seen this issue on non-terminal stations (e.g., Holesovice in Prague).
Game version: 2.1.21
OS: Linux
Steps to reproduce:
From scratch:
- Start a new Prague map with everything unlocked
- Build a route to Masaryk and a shunting loop for reversing a regional train
- Build a stabling sensor on the platform with default settings and commands to reverse a train
- Accept a regional contract with a leg terminating at Marsaryk
- Observe the train stopping at Masaryk and not receiving shunting commands
With my save: - Load the attached save file
- See that platforms 2 and 4 at Marsaryk have default stabling sensors with shunting commands
- See that two regional trains Reg743A0 and Reg225A3 are about to arrive at platforms 2 and 4 (respectively).
- Despite the presence of stabling sensors on both platforms, neither train receives the shunting commands or reverses, instead stopping at the end of the platform.
Wrong behavior:
Regional trains finishing their leg at a terminal station are not receiving the shunting commands from the stabling sensor, nor are they being reversed (if a departure sensor is present).
Expected behavior:
Regional trains finishing their leg at a terminal station receive the shunting commands from the stabling sensor.
