Steps:

1. On a platform or an autoblock with no signal or a manual signal, build a sensor.
2. Build an automated signal
3. The sensor will not be able to recognise an automated signal has been built.

1a) On a non-sink platform or an autoblock with an automated signal at one end only, build a departure or routing sensor.
2a) Build an automated signal at the other end.
3a) The sensor will not be able to route in the direction of the new signal.
