My B Class Raggare Chevy Impala😁

Livery is not mine was made by someone else

And for those wondering what Raggare is its the Scandinavian Car Culture mostly common here in norway and in sweden Raggare Cars first started out with cheap restored american muscle cars but since then has evolved into now having 3 diffrent types of raggares the Raggare Ratrod styeled Raggare and EPA raggare but still can be considered a normal raggare

The EPA Raggare usaly have cheap 80s 90s and 2000s cars like Volvo saab Bmw Mercedes Audi and Volkswagen and a lot of them gets modded by a lot usaly with big base or bass systems

The ratrod types of raggare usaly goes for the traditional 60s 70s cheap cars that usaly wouldnt be road legal here in Scandinavia but they some how are and doesnt mind rusts as long it drives

And then we have the traditional raggare that fully Restores their cars 60s 70s cars and some lightly mods their cars but still are fully road legal

Thanks , I change the settings almost every time i take a shot, its not about knowing what settings are but what the settings do and how they interact with each other

the best way to understand those is to play with them, individually take them from 0 to 100 and watch the differences and if you have questions after that feel free to ask

there's lots of 'rules' you can learn to photography and there's a million courses and books etc and you can read them all and still not have even scratched the surface of art and because its an art there's not really any rules and if you're enjoying yourself doing it and making something that you like, then you're doing it right. Chances are if you like what you make then with 8 billion other folk on the planet a good portion of them will like it too. 😉

your pics for aperture werent very good cause there wasnt any background and it doesnt look like you focused on the car for it anyway. You need to focus on the car then grow the aperture out so the cars crisp and the background is blurred. if youd used it in the most recent pis it would obscure those hash lines in the distance

Now we’re getting into depths levels where I have no idea what you’re talking about 😅 what’s bokeh? And I’m realising I don’t quite understand what aperture fully does

when you focus on something with the x button it sets a distance level. With 0 aperture everything will be in focus as you increase the aperture level the field of focus will decrease.

to see the effect, goto photo mode and only zoom a little and get the car in the same position as before, set your shutter speed to zero and your aperture to 0, look at the cars taillight and focus the camera on it and the slowly increase the aperture, at about 30 - 40 aperture the car will be in focus but the distant stuff wont be set it to 100 and only the back of the car will be in focus and set it to 0 and everything will be in focus

how you get filtered shots like these is to set your focus but then duck behind something like a car or a bush or a flower and then use a combination of aperture, shutterspeed and now bokeh settings to get the desired effect

with the lights in this one the bokeh setting would be on circle, it it was set at hexagon then they would be hexagon shape or diamond etc etc etc

just what i said, when it renders the scene thats the pattern type it uses, so if id set the bokeh setting hexagon on that last one then the lights apertured out in the background above the stadium would have rendered in in a hexagon pattern

see, hands on the models are a bit rubbish but by using clever aperture levels he can subtlety blur them out and draw attention to the face

if you want to see it have an effect, get a scene with a lot lot lights or fireworks outside, set your focus on your car by pointing the camera at the car and pressing X and set your aperture to about 50 - 60 and your shutterspeed to 0 and watch the pattern the lights that are out of focus initially start to render in when you change from shape to shape

pro tip that i dont think anyone knows at leasst ive not seen anyone using it, if you paint a van/car (preferably one with sharp corners) with colours you want to use in patterns you can use those colours to focus through when taking photos
