So my friend and I tend to climb the tower mid game and use the top as a sniping position. Anyways, a few days ago my friend decided to lay down on his back and turned his head to the right and he just died. We were both very confused as the death message said he’d fallen to his death. Anyway, we started having fun recreating the glitch and experimenting with the glitch. Eventually, we found out you can get infinite knives from it which doesn’t really matter. But, randomly for some reason you drop a bunch of ammo. This being said we realized that as long as you have someone to revive you, the glitch can give you infinite ammo and knives. To recreate it, you lay down on your back, with your controllers at your sides, and turn your head to the right. Not sure if turning it left works too, we’ve never tried it, and sometimes it takes a second so just lay there for three or four seconds. Also why is there no glitch tag!?

this isn't a glitch its part of the game. you die you drop ammo knife/loot

the falling to death while laying down though could be a bug in itself but not the ammo piece at all

Yea if I take my headset off and set it on the ground to grab some water or something from another room I instantly die.

It's a method that some of the top snipers had to use to get sniper ammo when BigBox made sniper ammo very rare about a year ago.

Seconding this. My squad mate was on a bathroom break and kept dying on the platform. I revived him 3 or 4 times and he kept spewing out ammo. Clearly there's a clipping, collision or velocity update bug that needs addressed. Normally a low priority bug but it gave us an unfair advantage when he got back.

Yeah, I don't mind teammates dropping loot or even taking advantage of it. It's the rapid insta-death due to ground clipping that I'd love to see patched. Though the more I think about, the more I realize it was probably a reaction to the early exploits where you could get underneath the stage and see everything. I guess a little extra ammo on a hot drop is far less serious by comparison.
