shots not registering when backing up

Noticed in games that when you’re backing up and shooting someone, the shots aren’t registering. Please fix this, it’s pretty game breaking.

It's hard to replicate, but i do see it happen enough that it's an issue.

i have never noticed it, just be more agressive and hope they fix it eventually if it is too big a problem

Yep. Known issue for over a year now.
Very easy to replicate as well when you understand how it’s broken

Basically when you shoot, only strafe, never go back in a straight line.

well now i think this whole thread is a load of bullshit. I have 0 issues with bullets registering while walking backwards, and since it must so easy to replicate if you are right, then you must be wrong, as always

I get the problem sometimes, and this is the feedback section, one of the only places we are heard from the developers. Please don't shit the feedback section of this discord up with banter.

The first 4-5 bullets hit, and then the rest of the clip goes right through the enemy. And this happens when you are about 10 feet apart and hitting them right in the middle of their hit box. Every time it's happened, I was running in a backwards direction.

I do find it hard to replicate, though, so there's probably other variables at play, such as the target's interet connection.

if i had to guess i would say it is more a lag thing

i have that happen somewhat frequently but it is always against laggy players, i have never found any correlation with moving backward

Usually this happens when you hold gun with both hands and walk backwards. Easy to check in training park. P90, rfb, ump i think were the most common to do this

Couple games this morning totally happened to me. Not lag. Add this to the list that BB will never see or do anything about.

I have the same issue whenever I have to back off from a sword swinging Maniac the shots don't hit and you almost always die right away

Yepppp too many times died like that. I always think that instead I should go through the player as the 2nd hit won’t be able to touch me.

But considering the high ping and the sheer panic you go into when someone jumps on you with a blade, I still go backward 9 times out of 10.

known about this for a while now, maybe a little over a year. we went into a custom lobby and recreated it with all guns that you can hold the trigger down and get to continuous fire. if you backup straight, they don't register. if you veer left or right while backing up you'll get hits. not sure if allowed, but here's a tiktok that shows it.
