Since the update on Thursday. I have had serious issues with my left controller when climbing every single time it doesn't grap, which makes climbing beyond frustrating. It affects the game play so much when you can't do the basics and climb. It's unplayable out of severe frustration. I hope this issue gets fixed asap.

Does this happen in both maps? Or only Evolving Map?

I think it’s the same problem fogdog is referring to in a different thread. I’m left handed and notice it mainly in my right controller. It’s just reaching too far in a wall that makes you lose the grip and you fall. Really annoying. Hope it gets fixed soon

I last couple of day's I have only been playing Duo's metro. I have several friends that play the game, and all of them are having the same issue with the left climb. We did find that it grips better when you keep your hands on the surface. When we have to climb and especially when we climb fast, it fails every single time and I'm lucky if I catch the wall again before I fall all the way to the ground. I have played Pop since day 1 and I play pretty much every day, so something is bugged. I also saw that a couple of streamers streaming the game were also having the same issue. They reset their games going through the process of elimination, hoping it would fix the problem. It's definitely a Pop issue. I asked around before I brought it to your attention to make sure that it was an issue for everyone and not just me @median helm

Thanks, checking to see if it happens in the Classic Map would be super helpful.

The reason I ask is because we changed the way collision is handled in the Evolving Map with the latest release, but the Classic Map collision is the same as the previous release.

If the issue happens in both maps, then that means its an issue with the climbing system, if it only happens in the Evolving map, then that means it's probably an issue with the collision we generated.

Okay, great! Yeah, Playing Metro involves nothing but climbing and moving, as you know. That's also why it's agitating me more than it should because of the constantly loosing grip. I'll definitely report back after I test it out on classics. Again, thank you for your time! 🙂

I am on quest three and noticed this in duos. It seems that my hand, I thought it was both but maybe just left just won’t grip. After a while I have found that I just have to make sure my had is directly on the surface of what I’m climbing or it won’t grip. If my hand goes into the wall it stops. I have played for two years. This was definitely a new glitch for me. My friend that I play with almost every day has not noticed it on her quest 2. I did play squads today with others but I didn’t notice because less climbing and now I have for the most part been careful to grab on the material I am climbing. I do think it happened to me but I can’t confirm. It wasn’t on my mind at the time.

Hey BagelBytes 👋. Sorry that it took so long to get with you. I have been swamped with my business and haven't had much free time. In classics, the climbing works fine and evolving it doesn't. I will say that after some more days playing, it is a pretty game breaking issue. I would be very surprised if you haven't heard the community complaining about the issue by now. What's going on is when you go to climb if your hand barely breaks the surface of the object, and when your hand is blue, it doesn't grab. What helps is climbing slower, but that's easier said than done when you have to move and climb fast while in a fight against another squad. This issue has never been an issue prior, but I promise everyone that I talk with is very frustrated and agitated by it. I have a few friends who are so frustrated with it that they refuse to play until the issue is fixed. So please take this issue seriously and try to fix it. You'll be saving the community a lot of stress and frustration.

Same issues as described. Climbing doesn't work as it used to in Evolving map
