I have an update required message on the loading screen, however there is no update waiting, i uninstalled and reinstalled the game rrestarted and its still saying update required. @last yew are you able to help at all please? Index steam VR

RIght click the game on Steam and go to properties, betas, and make sure Beta Participation is set to None

I'm also having this issue on the Oculus Quest 2. I don't see anything about a Beta. Oculus app says the update will start when I open the app in my headset. Headset Pop 1 app says an update is required and that I need to update the app.

Its pop1 because anyone on steamvr can't access the pop in game menus right now

I cant get it to update. Not in beta. On q3. I can start the update but it stalls. My dl speed is 750 so 3gb should be a 2 min dl

Mine says it's the app version dated today, 1.2.41501, and it just doesn't work anymore
My guess is that it did update and for some reason thinks it isn't updated but can't update to an update that it already has

Actually now that I've come back to it and am trying again, the Pop1 app is now trying to update. It's getting to 1.59Gb out of 3Gb and then just stalling. Then it has to try and restart the update. Yes I have plenty of space available for the update.

Yup. I Uninstalled it and tried again. It gets to 2 gb and stalls.

pc download through oculus store is taking forever! 1.2.40501 (LIVE) multiple fails... ookla ping 11ms/80+ mbps not my internet; stand-alone on Q3 dl taking a lot less time! already halfway to4.9GB
