Hey! There's a disk throwing game that is crazy popular called ECHO-VR. Meta/Facebook is killing it by this August. So in a hail mary attempt to attract some disaffected Echo players, I rebuilt the ECHO ARENA as a sandbox. Really very accurate to the original arena. Please take a look, and if you're and Echo player, would love to hear any areas where I didn't quite get it right (and can be fixed with the limited tools) 🙂 Here's a video:

So we played this 6v6. Catch22 here. You always spawn in your area so it’s super easy to get spawn camped. To counter this the ghost tome is set high so you can just ghost past and shoot in back. Fling might be a little high for my liking or gravity too low. Design wise. Top class.

Also lobby spawns should be together. @sweet niche will wave a finger at you.

Thanks for the notes! Not sure what lobby spawn being together means...... OH....yea....I can do that.....just put everyone in the arena.....coming.

As to the spawn camp, I actually figured the ghost capability would prevent that.....easy kills.....I wouldn't want to be in there spawn camping because of that. As to the high fling low gravity etc.....keep in mind that I'm trying to mimic Echo as much as possible...... and it's a zero gravity game where you get around by jet packs. So, in trying to adhere to the look and feel, I made the fling as high as possible. Also in keeping with the game, the spawning locations are fixed in the standard Echo game....just like what you saw there. Could block off the bottom two tubes to prevent anybody from heading in there, but again, ghost mode should dampen that desire.

Having only seen and never played this map. I'm guessing it's more of a 2v2 3v3. Not the traditional 6v6 we're boxed into.
But you've captured the look and vibe of Echo 🔥. And to me, I'd rather preserve that, than sacrifice alterations for better Pop1 gameplay.

Next you got to make the echo training park / lobby 😃

Yea.....I have plans for the lobby and practice areas......Think I've figured out how to "glue" them together.

Made some changes and republished.... among them I put all the pre game spawn points out in the main arena
