started from fresh recently with a couple other friends who played this game as kids when it came out, and for a while we've just been doing whatever and grouping whenever we're all around, but haven't needed to do anything in pugs yet. i'm now around mid-rigomor in story progression, and i'm wondering when i should expect to NEED groups in order to do things for more progression. doesn't look like just queueing for dungeons gets anyone anymore, at least where i am

looks like there's a party finder system now too, though the few times i've checked it, there doesn't seem to be too many people with open parties, especially for non-endgame things. generally, do people expect to find pugs in in-game parties, ask around guilds maybe, or some other method when i get there?

No u dont need groups besides for doom raid and things like 22-3 (weekly spirit temple). Generally u can just solo all the way to serp raid, just a matter of piloting and efficienyly gearing your character

But ofc if there's something annoying that u need to get done, u can always ask the guild youre in

gotcha! I've been playing prophetess and used the new event to get a demersio, so im sure I'll have a nice time finding people that'll let me into things as a support main, but i Do take a bit longer to deal damage solo

sadly supports nowadays are in a weird position where u have to either heavily gear an alt supp or main one since only one is allowed in a party. Though most people do not need supports until id say at least serpentium region. But if u love dem, u should def keep playing them

oh really?? so is it mostly synergistic dpses that can buff each other?

dem has been fun but prophetess is my highest geared. granted i'm not super far anyways so i'm sure i'll find a dps i like too

only one healer in the pt now, healers dont stack with each other and they also gutted synergy as a whole. So if youre not a healer, you just dps. PR is expected to dps. Granted, PR does still have a few favorable things like mp rec on skills on her v key but still, you should ideally be dps'ing

You shouldnt need any1 unless you want 10x spirit

U can solo every content

#

Except doom/challenge

#

And some weekly bosses

#

And ofc every map is faster if you have friends
