#Stop stupid unbalanced PvP matching

It's absurd being in A or S rank (where we are normal casual people with +10Void/Rosso and Elria/Rigo armor or, worse, +9 PvP set) and getting matched with players from SS or SSS rank, sometimes even when my progress bar isnt even over 50%, when you know very well players from SS ranks and upwards are sweaty maxed players who oneshot anyone who isn't like them with one 5second combo (if they catch first) or one skill used from the MP gained by our combo on them (if miracolously they don't get first combo).

Stop matching with players from higher ranks unless the progress bar is at least 80% or higher and decrease to 1 minute the waiting time to be matched with NPC if there are no suitable players (which, AGAIN, should be only players from my rank or lower rank with +80% progress).

This is sadly a multi layered problem that will not get better with the current state of the game. But ill try to break it down.

Casual pvp is essentially dead. There are not enough players in the current elsword to make a varied enough movepool for it to feel fun. You are right, it isnt fun to fight against a full +11 soa player who can tank you > escape > Nuke all your hp. But with the playerpool so limited, this is all you're gonna get.

Gearing has always been a point of contention and it has not gotten any better. To be at least somewhat competent in pvp you need;

+11
Maxed out duelist
30% Mp cost reduction
Full artifact set
Titles just as eclipse / Freed Shadow as to not die in one combo.
A lot of hp identifies.

It also doesnt help that 1v1, the gamemode you're likely to play first, has only gottan more unbalanced.
And 2v2 you will not be welcomed at all with low gear.

#

The point of the que is to get you a match. And if there no one in your rank active, then it will give you whoever. '

I always thought if you wanted to do casual PVP you would make a spar room with a few buddies

#

Unfortunately this is not always the case because a lot of people are either returning players or new players who haven't been in the community for a long period of time

#

Plus to convince people on a set of rules in your spar room can be wishy washy at best

#

pvp in the casual sense is entirely gone

#

Most people who are in arena are either:

#

A. AFK people getting fighters potion

#

B. Old boomers like me and other veterans with well-established gear and multiple years of experience

#

C. People like the OP here who make up the minority

#

compounding the problem even further even if you have great gear in arena this does not guarantee you will win

This only guarantees that you won't be killed by gear and the rest of the work would be you knowing your character very well in a PVP sense not PVE sense

#

Which fun enough is actually entirely different from the rest of the game

#

So there's quite literally no incentive for you to take arena seriously
