As the title states, pinging @.everyone is not good practice. If players want to see it, they should be able to select a role for it and not get pinged for everything.

This has been brought up before but for the same reason it has always been denied. Every announcement we post is important so pings are necessary to get, well, everyone's attention. After all, we want to alert everyone in the Discord of certain things, especially in the case of something such as Blog posts, Maintenance, and of course Patch Notes. While I get that a double ping can be annoying (Like with the steam ones, those were on accident and will be looked into), it is important to alert as many players on Discord as possible.
I will bring this up again but know that there's a good chance it will not be approved.
