kd for a lot of classes is basically irrelevant because the values are so scuffed that u r free to do w/e u want so long as you throw in the occasional launch/^x
but for classes that do not get to do w/e they want it might b useful to have a better than vague understanding of how kd for ur char works
if what is kd efficient is not efficient 4 damage or mp gain, u will want to kno to what extent you can greed the higher kd stuff b4 going into kd efficient stuff
and figuring that out might be simple if -kd moves were actually just -kd but elwiki suggests launches extend + descale over time which sounds miserable to test

I think Hails said KD is 120 so you just add each command separately to add up their KD value

There's also Champion Accessories that come into the calculation, since they also increase your own KD
I'm also not sure when you actually decrease your own KD, imo it's when you jump by yourself, but I've also heard it's when you attack
Things like these just make it hard to be truly optimal on characters with hard/no access to infinites
Oh and last but not least, don't ever try to run any MP gain or KD calcs on Lowe in free training

even if u dont know the exact # value of a move’s KD, u can still figure out the KD ratios of ur normals relative to one another, n thats what’s important imo. Use lowe to define the KD of ur normals in terms of each other and then u can figure out how much -20 KD is worth, how much ur launches r worth relative to the -20 KD and etc

As long as you know what ur character is capable of doing in trades and what the other side gets out of going into them you can play into them. That CS was kinda dumb cuz I remember if you tried to trade she could just EH (cuz she already had it) and then do some Xs and if they tried to hit you then you'd have mp for PR they'd already be kinda dead if u were a gearlord.

i have a rose + cbs i left at pre-masters for these that can clear pretty fast so u can hmu when u get ur alts enough cp to run 16-2 trosh's nest

trosh is also pretty decent exp for ur level so ul probably want to get exp medal
and u can get those from exchanging ariel reward things from doing secret dungeons
those give u 14m ed per run 2
so if u need pocket change they r pretty nice
so ideally wat we do is like
- get character that needs master class to ~530k cp so it can run trosh
- finish the first couple master quests until you are on "collect 20 mats from rig doujins"
- schedule time to run with us
then when we r running, u grab an exp medal + pop guild exp buff + get hot springs for giga exp gain and just get carried through runs, stopping every now and then to place mats in the bank bc u cant get any more if u have 20 in ur inv
ofc we'll need to finish up the rest of the master class quests + do the earlier master class quests on other chars separately at a later time, but those are a lot ezer and don't need a proper carry
for new chars/third jobs, nek and milk and zillek all still need a ton of collection stuff if u can scam them in2 doing it
