if everyone is clumped in the same rank despite the skill levels not being the same at all;
casuals will be less motivated to try out pvp because they just keep facing veterans
and then when veterans climb up, the high ranks still will face the same issues, dead queues
so to me, all this actually did was just hurt casual players' motivation

(I want to preface this, I'm aware that very VERY few people harbor the same mentality as me. So, Hope you're prepped to cringe at this)

TL:DR:

there may be some issues with everyone starting at E rank, And some Demotivation, But the Stat normalizing, Resets, and Current yet temporary queue times makes these pvp changes seem nice. I like it.

NON-TL:DR:

I can see how everyone being E can be a de-motivator. especially when people want to fight folks at their own level. But, I kinda like it.
It's smilar to D2's "issues" with SBMM VS CBMM. When Rank isn't considered or most ranks are closer together, queue times are faster. If they're farther apart? You gat a longer queue time.

Again, as I said about fixing/ improving arena. Gotta add some more incentives(weekly rewards for reaching certain ranks/Overall wins), or rewards at the end of the seaosn (I Can give ideas, or send you to the Thread I started AGES ago about PVP Re-invigoration).

There's SOOME balancing of the stats. (untill folks get their duelist weapon amped up to +11 and 12), But if they can add an "upgradability" option for the duelsit gear, (a pipe dream) it'll iron out the RNG/ Time investment factor (so time can be invested into your abilities, piloting, etc.)

And, the "stat pvp normalizations" I approve. Sure there's still gonna be some heavy hitters, but I can mess with it.

This can be smooth brained coming from me, But I can mess with this.
All that is left is a way to bring up the game population, or at least the PVP population. And that's gonna be a massive Abyssal Taking (undertaking isn't even deep enough to define this objective).

Don't even know what I did to them, So i asked them "Was there any latency, lag, delay"?

They have given no sort of Reasoning, Even at this moment. I still don't know what the hell I did to them.

Besides stopping my replies ( I Stopped my replies and questioning at this moment)

Is the duelist weapon better or soa?

I'm in a position where both of mine are +9 and not really worked on yet. Duelist has +5 mpr and asd which is great. But does imprint and mystics make it soa better?

the extra stats from specialize is incredibly strong

I was hopping that they'll fix the client side jank of it only, as in >>z spear doesn't go out that far in the opponents point of view and thus you really had to kiss the enemy for dash attack to connect.

And how they fixed that?
They didn't...
They made the lundge go in hella fast and deep, so client sided hits will be way harder to happen and it's also now much faster than eve stepping(without accel aura).

But if anything, eve's >>z is now functionally better. But I still hate it that I can't dash cancel it if I go off ledge.

Like I dash attack off ledge then into a air dash to close gaps and to run.
Now I can't really do that.

And last to note, >>z loses a lot of momentum the moment you go off the ledge/platform as you do it.

As in, it becomes slower than the air dash.

And CE's >>ZX off the ledge doesn't make it any faster.

And weirdly enough, CE cannot do >>ZZZ when leaving the platform but can do >>ZX.

Debuff Removal sounds good on paper but the most noctorious debuff is Fog. So unless it cleanses it before the animation goes off (havent logged in to check) then its not useful to remove the slowdown.

So it would only be useful vs random stuff like Devi Bind or something.

Things that grab you but dont stop skill usage.

Meanwhile normal Lucky Chance increases dmg.
