I think it just has a lot to do with understanding not just what's going on with your own combo but what your teammate and the other person is doin as well. If they're still on screen then everyone's delays will effect you so you dont want to commit to any animation that is gunna drop your combo if u freeze in it (like a launch or something.)

If the enemy's teammate is about to save them then you need to think of something to do incase that happens. To either make it so u can do dmg and get out safely or end up catching the other teammate while doing it as well.

What I noticed with most SH is they just save discordance for those moments because its alot of movement and it makes it annoying to hit her and then afterwards they just cancel into specter walk and dip if things go badly or something.

IIRC that move is just super armor so it wont really protect you from being nuked by a skill. But for that you prob just have to cancel into obtene or something. One of the reasons I thought all the aras seemed kinda w/e right now because they're just canceling into super armor to get blown up.

Of course sometimes you'll get teammates that just hit buttons and don't care about what you're doing. There's not much u can do about that except suffer with it. lol

Ya you just gotta get used to paying alot of attention to where the other person is even if theyre off screen. Its a sort of skill.

Its why so many people just use ultra-wide.

It makes it easier.

As for discordance if you have to regularly use it for damage (idk how SH dmg works) then you just have to like manage the cd of it a bit more I guess.

The energy count to use the skill is 3 which I can’t easily get just by canceling

So I’ve been looking for which skills r best to use so I can save energy more

it's the fact that CE's best skill can be out-traded by other skills, losing neutral or resetting it.

easy panic button for sure, but it doesn't take to long to learn to deal with a 3 second bubble that only tickles you 3 times.

and you can mash a dash input into a skill to escape the bubble between the hitstun to escape the last two hits of the 3 second bubble.

so as long Core Laser doesn't activate or other obscurities.

Core Laser is somewhat a requirement to do follow ups with oberon guard in loose situations.

epecially if you hit someone that was in the air with oberon guard, no core laser is a near outright failed attempt on catching someone.

overall, just a good skill for PvP, but others can use better better skills, counter it, or exploit it.

i'd still preferer the oberon guard before this current one.

and it was more cooler seeing people play around the previous oberon guard.

personally, i would like the previous oberon guard as the Modded one instead.
