she has cheap utility that in some cases doubles as dmg
has an infinite due to void balls
has an mpr passive that relies on her being away from enemies, however the actual distance is pretty short so it's pt much free mpr
u don't rly want to tank oz often cuz they can just loop this
costs 200 mp base but she can recover mp spent on cast at a chance and the alr mentioned mpr passive
and it has this
she gets a passive for that too
so the mp burn is most likely more than 5.2
she also can ignore ur defense at a chance
and has dark ring which is a pt big active that also curses u
pt much just hope ur not feeding her resources

sage is best for support but it doesnt give more CP then +9 elrianode untill +8 r15, it does add more def tho. only thing thats sucky is that the party buff effect doesnt stack if others use it, and the 2set is a shadow effect line on tenebrous gloves. crimson adds quite some CP but its from attack/attacked so less survive
I use 2/4 sage and I have a 10 attack/attacked tene top, adds just as much as a +11 party effect top so thats quite a big gain for i think 150mil
but u can also get 2 buffer tenebrous pieces and use 2/4 crimson to boost CP if thats ur goal, or 2/4 crimson and 10% polarize top

for pve:
unmod piercing ego is better across all boards (you can always go unmod before boss stage)
abyss scatter's mod is superior in all areas
rise up i use to get combo points even faster (sometimes unmod misses when going up, mod is tracking so its going to hit something). not necessary at all, use whatever you prefer

when im supporting in raids, what i do is cast scatter then blanket. invite is purely there to reduce cooldowns
if i had to list my rotations it would be
eternal demersio > aura of punishment > awk/onion > rise up > heartless > mod piercing > infernal hands > abyss scatter > amorphous > unmod piercing > blanket > then mash
unlike scatter and blanket, you shouldnt wait for a full cp bar to cast invite. youre not expected to dps and you really want to use blanket as much as you can to heal.

So uhh, I unequipped my weapon and decided to derank to S to fight A/S rank players
I think I got a lot better at playing CC by practicing my combos etc, but is it a smart idea? Most people I fight dont really know how to play their class, once I get back to SS I have to fight a bullet blitz FP that wont give me any chance to combo him, or an oz that spams that can keep recatching me after I mana break...
I might learn how to play my class but I dont really learn my opponents, should I keep playing A/S rank for now till I can play my CC really smoothly or should I rank up go hardcore and fight SS+ players again? I did notice that I relied a lot on my high mp skills there to win just to not lose my rank, I guess that is just the harsh reality in high rank pvp but I wont bother risking to lose my combo to practice an X drop there in my current state, let alone do some fancy pants stuff 😵💫 on the other hand I have Lowe for that, but hes also very different from a real player

you get better by losing
you learn more by losing than u would by winning
so if you can get to SS then what you need to work on is staying in SS
by fighting other SS players
if u want to work on playing fancy though then spar is probably the best place to do that
practice it on lowe in free training then go in spar and make a room "LF> Combo Dummy" and see if u can carry it there
and when that's done make a 1s match and work on doing that in a real match > then arena
if you don't wanna rely on one shots then you can take off Nova and practice recatching
CC doesn't actually need a nuke in 1s
he can get by with just recatching over and over

Usually EU players have about 150 ping. So then interactions are sort of like mind reading. Where you have to be much stricter on your combos or you risk being mashed on.
