All the thermal mods are great for newer players! I would also check out Thermal Innovation and Thermal Cultivation as they are also really nice to use!

Better combat isn’t more than player animations when attacking and dual wielding so that wouldn’t be possible. But you can use Pufferfish’s Skills to make skill trees that allow the player to get extra damage, attack speed etc

You can use FTB Ultimine for the second thing but it can only mine 3x3 as the biggest "tunnel" and Universal enchants for the first one. I think Universal Enchants has a config that you can use to change each max level on enchantments and it also has configs for allowing other enchantments on weapons/tools that normally don't support it

Hi everyone! I am looking for a tech modpack to play with a friend. We want a challenging tech/sci-fi modpack. We have tried Nomifactory (the Omnifactory fork), It was super fun but it was too centered around gregtech, we'd really like to play some rich space exploration, even different solar systems, exciting new mods with nice questing progression but it should be still hard. Preferably 1.12.2+. Any suggestions? Thank you.

This one may not have bosses afaik but FTB Evolution is a pack with almost as many quests as Craftoria with the main goal of assembling the FTB Beacon! And if you know FTB, you know they make sure their packs are filled with good content!

It’s on curseforge! If you search in the browse menu (make sure you have the modpacks category selected) you should find a 1.21.1 pack called Craftoria. Or just search it up on the website and click the orange install button

A magic mod you should try, is Iron’s Spells & Spellbooks! It has tons of spells and also a couple of enemies to conquer! Ars Noveau is also really great! It even has a boss or two!

Then for some bosses there is L_Ender’s Cataclysm! It adds 8 tough bosses to the world that you can fight for some pretty cool gear and some of them even allow you to craft new armor sets! The bosses also have chances of dropping a disc of the boss music that plays when fighting the boss itself for a total of 8 discs to collect
