Minecraft mods is how you test the limits of your PC lol. Made a modpack for my friends and I to play but then I realized I would have to make quests from scratch so I just wanted to add other interesting things instead. I've got dimension mods and the magic mods in but I feel like the overworld is missing something even though there are a few new biomes and structures, they are still spaced out so unless you spawn right next to one of these new things, it feels like regular minecraft with extra UI stuff

Not to mention the basic computer mods like applied energistics and mekanism. Just, if you really didn't know to start with mods, you could easily just play normal Minecraft

Tbf while Minecraft has a strong identity and reputation in terms of vanilla, there are smaller minorities of people that prefer to use the game as more of a platform for a highly modded and different experience, and you need to understand that that’s what many people enjoy, even if it’s arguable that it isn’t really minecraft at that point, that is the point of mods and modpacks that design themselves to completely overhaul or change the game entirely into something unrecognisable, or even just changing a few core mechanics

Hey everyone! just a request for some reccomendations. I used to watch "stacyplays" as a kid. her series "dogcraft". Now that im older, I've wanted to re create that experience now me being in to modded minecraft. if anyone can recommend mods to me to simulate that experience, i would really really appreciate it!

However, I would personally suggest trying Wilder Wild (biomes + worldgen) with Legacies and Legends (structures + items and loot to discover)

Also, as a side note, you can add Tectonic with either of my suggestions if you want more drastic worldgen terrain

Its not a mod, its a plugin for bukkit servers.

Plugins and mods are not the same thing, they also dont mix all that well. You need to make a special server to run plugins

Create Above and Beyond works well in the classic Skyblock map, a bit grindy at first tho if you don't use the very broken shop system (basically vanilla to start and you need iron and copper to get the ball rolling)

and since i have not played sevtech I cannot say for certain what similarities it has with exoria

Heartbond lets you tp to others so if you want to get back homes will do that, kubejs allows for balancing in various ways, makes it fairly simple to add recipe changes tho if that's all you're after this can also be simply achieved with a custom recipe datapack 🙂

You would have to try and see, tho do note, that mod doesnt just allow forge and fabric to work together. It forces 2 modloaders that were never designed to work together... to work together. So you dont just get all of forges issues, you get all of fabrics as well.

the reason why people usually dont find horror themed modpacks scary enough is that they usually play in casual gamemodes(Easy, Normal, Hard), the ability to just revive after dying greatly reduces the terror you feel while playing these modpacks, why fear the boogeyman if it cant hurt you?
something I suggest is using a mod that gives punishment when you die, something i highly suggest is the mod Unhealthy Dying - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/unhealthy-dying
with this mod, each time you die you lose a heart
there is also a more drastic option which is playing in hardcore, now you feel the fear that you want to feel

Gonna throw this into the wild here,
Trying to remember a mod from when I was very much so younger. It was a mod maybe 1.7.10 area? All I can remember was it looked similar to the Occultism storage system, a grey floating block(s?) in the center, there was a power system, and it was massive. Items stacked on-top of eachother, and I think it was made of stone or something similar to stone. Any help would be appreciated!!

Heya! Does anyone know of some light automation mods? Stuff for autocrafters and pipes etc, but not on the level of Create, and preferably something that blends well with 16x packs/default minecraft's artstyle
I'm playing on Fabric 1.20.4, but with some effort (I've got like 50 mods running atm ) I could downgrade to 1.20.1 which I know has more options
