Open Powershell and do the below command:

This option will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to create a new project
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project that you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.

https://www.curseforge.com/ just get the curseforge.exe download, and run it. if things need to be repaired or updated, running the original installer should fix it

if your game isn't starting (assuming you're using minecraft) that could be a different issue altogether. but i would start by running the original installer exe for curseforge and go from there

It's the right way, however it's possible some of the mods version you are using is recognised by the sync anymore. It's probable the authors deleted the specific files you are using from the platform, and so you need to update/use a different version of the mods still present in .jar inside your export.

Just make sure your modpack still work properly after updating anything, and then try the export again and look in the modpack zip\overrides\mods

I can't tell for sure without the log, but it's also not recommended to give more than 8 giga of RAM to the game.

Due to how garbage collection work, adding too much memory could cause the ceiling of the RAM to happens less frequently and take longer to do so. Basically the game may better run with less allocated RAM, the best spot for performance being usually around 8 giga. Allocating more than 8 giga is rarely needed, except for very big modpacks.

We also do not recommend to allocate more than 8 giga of RAM because this could potentially damage your computer, Minecraft reserves all the memory you will give it and put everything in one CPU core since the game is singlecore. It's usually not a problem for most games, but it's believed to be different for Minecraft either because of the pressure inside this single CPU core - 8 giga per CPU core is usually what most manufacturers claims to support.

Or either because of how Minecraft manage the memory, in my knowledge the game still uses old technologies to the point where 1.12.2 which uses Java 8 still get the best performance in both FPS and RAM todays - some of the claims could potentially be proved truth considering the game haven't changed since this version, and depending what Notch did when creating the game - Notch was learning Java when creating Minecraft, so I believe everything is possible and it's what made this game so interesting to learn.

In addition, some people do claims to have lose their own computer because of allocating too much RAM. So while I cannot prove these claims and cannot prove Minecraft actually damage your computer, you probably doesn't want to do it considerating you can get the best performance with 8 giga (or lightly more depending of the modpack & computer) and the fact you generally don't need to allocate more.

Minecraft handles ram differently then other games. Too little can have issues, but same goes for too much. As Minecraft will literally try to use all the ram you give it and try to shove it all through 1 cpu core.

Instead of speeding up the game, it slows down the cpus processing by trying to process all the ram, used or unused.

The perms thing wouldnt have been something you did. it would be windows making the decision fro you to not trust itself for xyz reasons. Happens from time to time for who knows what reason

In the minecraft tab in settings can you scroll down to launcher settings and try the skip the launcher feature? then try starting logging into the cf app in the upper right corner for mc

If the other app also uses the official mojang launcher like curseforge does, it is possible the 2 apps are conflicting. We see this a lot on Macs, so wouldnt surprise me much if linux had a similar issue

i know, Im saying curseforge uses its own copy of the offical launcher, meaning you have 2 of the same apps installed twice, but used by 2 very different applications.

The internal code could be conflicting if the os cant seperate the differences thinking a change to one is a bug in the other

Hi, I purchased a mod on ark survival ascended for Primal Nemesis for $10. It came out of my bank, and I cannot play it. In game it still shows I haven't purchased it and when I click on purchase nothing happens. Please help

I contacted CF staff via email I have an active case but I purchased premium and they realized there's an issue as I keep getting the pop up that says "go premium" when I already hjave it and the features when you are premium are not working at least not for me. I provided all the info. I did a DNS flush, cleared history, made sure I wasn't on the legacy pages (new site only) and still probleems. I even did the walkthrough to send them info and nadda. So they sent me a code to give me a free subscription and told me to cancel my current one which I won't get refund on cause it's on my credit card... I checked the site on how to do this (cancel my subscription) but the info is outdated and I can't access the spot I need to go to cancel what I purchased. It's been under a month.

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.
3. Click Export.
4. Select the files that should be included.
5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack.

:small_blue_diamond: Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone

This option will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to create a new project
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project that you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations and !status to learn about the moderation process and how long it will take to approve/decline)
