All Minecraft account logins are Microsoft accounts now. Log out of whatever account comes up in the launcher Curseforge makes pop up and log in with a Microsoft account that owns Minecraft

Okay we have been working on this on our own for DAYS (me and my friend) we had bought a biscet server to use curseForge BMC3 And it isn't opening? this isn't just you, i exported directly from the curseforge app, can confirm there is a manifest.json in the generated pack, and it still tells me there's no manifest.json

Curse Forge Minecraft Launcher doesn't allow me to play minecraft
I tried downloading a mod for Minecraft using the curse forge app.
Once done i hit play and the Minecraft launcher opened. However in trying to sign into my main account, it had signed in as a username "player" of which i wasn't allowed to play Java Edition as it was locked behind a paywall. I tried to install the mod of the curse forge website instead and straight into a folder called "mods" located within the ".minecraft" folder which isn't working either. Any assistance for either the curseForge website or app would be greatly appreciated
What it looks like is curseForge is launching a clone mc launcher. I say this bc:
- The launcher that emerges from pressing play on a mod has a different icon colour
- The launcher that emerges from pressing play on a mod also doesn't give me access to java edition
In said launcher i have tried signing in with my microsoft account that has access to java
alas it was in vain as it logs me into an account with username, "player" rather than my actual username
This has all stemmed from trying to install insane craft
I should add that when i go to username > manage profile, i end up at the mojang website with my account that has access to java minecraft
So i'm stuck with not a single clue in the world

Yeah, I've been in a couple mod discord servers and they are toxic as hell. So I leave a comment on the mod telling people to avoid the discord (Such as Minecrsdt comes alive) and I notice they just delete the comments. instead of addressing the issue of their community managers being bullies.

well the only sound device related thing ive messed with was uninstalling twitch soundtrack, but otherwise everything is the same

hello i am having some issues with installing forge on my computer
at first i set the .jar files to open with java.exe but i then found out from a reddit post that the files are supposed to be opened with javaw.exe so i set it to be opened with javaw.exe and it still did not work. i then installed zulu jdk and tried to open it with that but it still did not work. i am very confused

Do you mean remove a mod from a modpack? If so, I assume you look at the details of the modpack in the app, find the mod you wish to remove, click the ... menu for it and see if there is a remove option.

Hello. I'm using curseForge as a modmanager for Minecraft. But there is something I don't understand.
On a singleplayer world, when I modify the playerdata's .dat file of my character and load the game, it actually does not apply. So this playerdata information is being loaded from somewhere else. But when I close the game, that .dat file actually get modified with the last data. But it seams the game doesn't load the data from there?
Does someone know how this works? It seams it has something to do with CurseForge

One the first image there is the game and the playerdata forlder. I'm on a certain position and I have an item.

Then I save and quit the world. and then I delete the playerdata files. (normaly, I should respawn and have no items as a newplayer)

On the third image I load the game but still having the same position and inventory.

If I save the game again or just wait like 5 minutes, new playerdata files are generated.
This indicates that the game saves on the playerdata folder but doesn't read from there. So playerdata is saved on two locations it seams, but I don't know where is the second one.

I am also looking for a solution here. I have the latest version of chrome, but I did test with edge and firefox as default browser, same results. I tried using a different internet network, including my own hotspot. I also cleared my cache/ settings. I do not have a VPN running and I've done all of the previous steps without a firewall.
