Wording is important!

Forge = Minecraft Forge, This is a modloader often just called "Forge".
Fabric = Fabric MC, this is another modloader, just called "Fabric".
CurseForge = A Website/App that has content for games.
Mods = Individual mod files.
Modpacks = Multiple mods put into the mods folder or downloaded from CurseForge.

These are not Interchangeable! Please use the correct terms as it allows us to help you faster!

This is correct, modpacks download a zip that apps like the cf app can read / install the needed mods.

Serverpacks are special files uploaded alongside an existing project file. If the main file is rejected the server pack is also rejected.

You require an already uploaded export file to upload a server pack!

1. Make the server pack by zipping up the required files by selecting the required folders & files. It should include the config and mod folders at a minimum, plus anything else you specifically required to run the server. Start/Run/Setup scripts are optional. Don't include modloader files or the minecraft server jar.
2. Go to the Files tab on the project.
3. Click the name of the file you wish to upload the server pack to. The pack and server should match pack versions.
4. Click Upload Additional File.
5. Fill out the form.

something weird have happened so i am making my own created modpack but when i load it up discord says its all the mods 7 and minecraft says that. i dont even have all the mods 7 installed

so i am trying to add just enough items to a preexisting modpack (The Pixelmon Modpack). when i download just enough items it gives me an installer that i have to choose where to install the client. when i pick the modpack ("C:\Users\me\curseforge\minecraft\Instances\The Pixelmon Modpack\mods") it says, "There is no minecraft launcher profile in (that folder), you need to run the launcher first!" i have already run pixelmon and the version of minecraft on the normal launcher without any mods (1.12.2).

Hey I had a quick question, is it possible to recover old accounts that are named "_ForgeUserxxxxxxxx" and associate them to a Twitch account ?
I had one a couple of years ago, and I would like to recover it to update one of the mods I had published back then while keeping the page.
I couldn't find anything in the "Support" section and the "Account Info Missing?" section just logs me out.

Hello. I'm trying to download CurseForge from the official website, but first they give me a non-loading page (hanging in an eternal reboot), and then, after a few minutes, they give me a loading file, which after a while just stops downloading.
Approximately the same thing happens with some mods (for example Farmer's Delight on Minecraft).
I have already tried to write through the questionnaire, but I am not sure that everything went smoothly.

There are two ways to share a modpack you've made with others...

Export and Share - For Friends to Small Groups.

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.
3. Click Export.
4. Select the files that should be included.
5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack!

Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to here: https://www.curseforge.com/project/432/4471/create
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations)

2. Click Open Folder.
3. Open the logs folder.

Can someone help ?
I was using Curseforge Launcher on OverWolf and it was working fine till yesterday but today it just doesn't starts and says files are missing. I tried reinstalling it (from the troubleshooting guide) but it doesn't work. The Overwolfhelper.exe and Overwolfhelper64.exe files do not show up in the installation directory.
I've reinstalled it many times but both the files are still missing.
I also tried disabling windows defender but still no luck. (I don't have any other form of Antivirus Application Installed)

Error/Exit codes are useless. Follow these steps so someone can actually help you.

1. Right-click the modpack profile icon OR click the button in the modpack profile.
2. Click Open Folder.
3. Open the logs folder.
4. Drag and drop the FILE named latest OR debug into discord.

the problem is upon trying to download forge 1.18.2 it spews out that error and gets rid of the profile leaving no installation to repair (im really sorry im this bad at describing this)

4. Select the location:

did that too. also didn't work. Making a new folder moved all the files into the new folder with the same issue

Try the new path as the bot says, then reinstall a pack, dont move files over as you may just be moving the issue to a new location

usually the dll error is a problem somewhere in the process of trying to contact the actual microsoft server to get the core MC files
