if ur on forge use optifine, get the version of shaders you want. put optifine in mod folder and open game. go to video settings and shaders. open shader folder and drag and drop the shader pack

correct, deleting a project does not delete the files, and now it's going to block your upload. you can either:
make a ticket to have the project restored or
change the file so it is not a duplicate.

when i try to download modpacks for minecraft i get a JNI error after the download seems to have essentially completed. It seems to only be for 1.16 releases (with minimal testing, i can do more if requested) other versions (namely 1.12.2) work fine. Ive tried downloading the latest JDK as most guides say to do. Also pre-existing 1.16 modpacks still work (not sure if its important but i only got the explicit error on 1.16.5 versions 1.16.4 the download finished but the install button grayed out and the pack didn't appear in the "My Modpacks" page)

i seem to have this error every time i try to open a modpack for minecraft in curseforge. my regular minecraft launcher works perfectly. i tried searching for the file it mentions in the error message in the control pannel, and there is no launcher.dll in the game folder, the file seems to not exist. i have re installed curseforge and overwolf twice now and cant find anything that works online. anyone have any suggestions that could help?

Like actually restarting the app, not just hiding it in the tray.
So, down in the tray icon, right click and press "Relaunch", that might clear it. Otherwise a good ol' fashioned reboot might work as well.

Not sure if I should post this here or Overwolf, but why is it that whenever I lauch the CurseForge app that Overwolf shows 10-12 instances open in Task Manager(Win10). I hit "Play" on my CF Minecraft profile and it shows 6-8 instances of MC in the TM? So I am creating a mod pack and an adventure map with a bunch of mods and a few resource packs some of which I have created and this is the first time I’ve had trouble with it working and I think it has to do with a ram issue but when I load up the world it doesn’t respond and i have to close the program resulting in going back to the launch menu and it displaying exit code -805306369 any help you guys can provide?

The cf app doesnt use the same launcher you get from the microsoft store. It uses its own copy
Also do not attempt to try and update the launcher the cf app uses, as this will just break it and you will have to do the Repair Installation again

but i select it, leave the settings menu, go back, and it sets itself back to automatic

For a mod to show up in the app:
