tip - any mod with dynamic in the name usually doesn't work well with... other mods
2 things: 1.Just out of curiosity, how does someone even deal with stackoverflows? 2.Did Animania or Blood Magic give any issues?
Also, I'm guessing Dynamic Stealth doesn't work with Dynamic Lights or Dynamic Surroundings.

most 1.12.2 mods still stuck on that version are usually abandoned or 'finished supporting' however

animania is throwing a ton of errors - i mean others are also so hard to wade through those waters.
it's far easier to start with something that does work and add to it then deal with this
Well, this is a personal modpack that I haven't played with consistently since July of 2021, so...
one possible method to salvage this is create a duplicate profile as a test platform and remove mods SLOWLY until it stops breaking, or remove half the mods and attempting to load. will need to keep track of any dependencies not being cross-removed if that is the case
like I said earlier, still getting my bearing again, and also I will get rid of Animania since I just started using it, so there's no point if out the gate, it's causing problems.
Is there a program that does a better job at pinpointing the issue? (I'm talking about Minecraft's Logging System, not you) because I'm aware that this is taking up your time (and mine, but that doesn't matter to me)and because Minecraft's logging system is shit(pardon my French), this is the third time in a row that its failed to figure this out. Anyway here's the new one:
did some digging, found that I still had "Moving World" which is for the Valkyrian Skies mod, gutting it now.
Digged some more, I'm seeing a lot of "This is not recommended, @Mods should be in a separate jar from the coremod." & "is not signed!", with occasional "does not have a MCVersion annotation, it may cause issues with this version of Minecraft" why is curseforge doing this?
Does jar mean folder in this context?

Occasionally a Minecraft version has mods people create to improve logging. Logging has improved since old 1.12.2 but that's where you're at...

Hello, anybody knows how to start a server with Lapito's Galacticraft modpack? I already have a dedicated server where i installed java 8, the minecraft_server 1.12.2 jar and Forge 1.12.2 - 14.23.5.2859. But after i installed the mods that Lapito's Galacticraft has, it's makes an error on console, this error says i have 14+ mods in my client. And the modpack has 156 mods, and my client has the same amount of mods.

Try 4gb. Modded needs a minimum of 4. Dont think its a ram issue but never hurts to try

This feels like more and more of a networking issue. Just an odd one as you can see the server, but cant join it. Unless something serverside (or your side) is blocking the full connection.
and the issue is about something like as a packet full of unnecesary data or unrecognized data.
Try disabling your anti-virus software then try. If it doesnt work temp disable your firewalls

My friend can't connect to my server because the server is EU and he's in Asia. He keeps getting thrown out because he's timing out.
Weird thing is though, I can connect to his Asian server just fine and he can connect to other EU servers just fine. Anyone know about anything we can do about this?

6-8Gb is recommended usually. Don't think stoneblock is very resource intensive

Ive tested with other exiting worlds and new ones
but the same thing happens. It loads the world and then the screen goes a dark gray then that text comes up

What ever they did to make mc use 24gb of ram is likely part of this issue. Minecraft will use all the ram you give it, Or at least try too. Doesnt help that javas multithreading is absolute garbage so instead of speeding up the game it starts to crap out instead. Usually see that after 10gb of ram.

With it being linux there are a bunch of ways they could have done it... which makes it more annoying.. easiest thing would be to just undo what ever they did in the first place (they would need too)

16gb max is more then enough for playing and running a fabric server. 32gb is a bonus

It will use your pcs ip automatically and the port should be set already at the default 25565
It automatically binds to your PCs ip, you only need to set the IP if the machine it's running on has multiple network cards and it needs to be told which one to use

Like Daemon said, it will auto use your pcs ip when you leave it blanks. you only set it if you have 2 ethernet cables going into your pc. "Dual nic" configuration

Not surepriesed. When playing on the same pc as the server you need to use the localhost or loopback ip 127.0.0.1
Otherwise it would be like sending a letter in the mail to your self. using the postal service
The linux box is on the same network as you yes?
If I remember right the domain is set to the external ip address. So as long as portfowarding is set up your your pc (not the linux box) it should work

the IP that auto loads is your current public IP that those outsiders will use
did configure your router to forward the port the MC server is using? (will be 25565 default)

Wanna say something to do with flywheel, maybe one of the create addons is doing something funky. There is a lot of broken recipe spam in here too which mod devs would need to look at.

hey there! i currently have a fabric 1.19 server running, and i made a secondary one for a d&d campaign :) problem is i added a couple more mods, and now on the new server, every time i attempt to input ANY command, i receive the following msg. i cant understand what that means, and i have removed each of the mods i added individually with no success. any help would be appreciated! :')
Friend is having trouble connecting to a server, the fml incompatible modded server error. Usually this indicates that mods are not the same in either the client or the server. However, we checked both and all versions of all mods match eachother and there are no mods missing. Any fixes? Specifically with Vault Hunters 3rd Edition

Well I did figure out part of the problem, (also did that thank you) when I went to the folder for that instance it pulled up the folder under its previous name. Like I renamed it to Jumble Jank from test, and it was only crrying things from test which was blank

I recently downloaded the curseforge app for the sims 4 and when i go add the go manually none of the folders are even there but if im not in the app i can go to it just fine

After the recent update to the Minecraft launcher, I can't boot into my game because its failing to load stuff that, before that update, it loaded perfectly fine.
I literally just played with this setup yesterday, and now the launcher is giving me problems.

yeah both me and my friend are having the same issue, 1.19.3 is bugged on curseforge, at least the fabric version is, have not tested other versions

- Check if the modpack has a server pack, if it does: use that and skip below.
- Go to the Forge website http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the Installer for the forge version the pack is using.
- Run the installer and choose
Install server. Do not install to your desktop. Also do not install inside a OneDrive folder. - Run the server using the forge.jar. A file called
eula.txtwill be generated. Open it and changeeula=falsetoeula=true - From the Client; Copy the
modsfolder,configfolder, and any other folders needed for the pack to work into the server folder. If the modpack has a server pack, use this instead! - Run the server again.
- Port forward your machine if needed. (Google it)
You could also use this community made tool for installing packs! Instructions are provided on the site.

As for Portforwarding you will need to google how for the router you have. Its not really something we can help with here. As it is different for everyone
