Hi.

I've heard that Discord does not support game registration when the game runs on the Vulkan API, yet when I play the Vulkan edition of Rainbow 6: Siege, it does show up in as an activity on my account, in Discord. The issue is, it does not show up as a program window that I can stream, from the usual bottom left corner of Discord.

After some searching, I wasn't able to find a concrete answer that explains why this happens. So this is me trying every location possible to find one.

I doubt you'll get an answer here. This is not a tech support server

Yeah, I thought as much. Thanks for the quick reply, though.

Idk if this thread needs closing, but you can if need be.

Some games like Siege and CS2 will purposefully defeat the attempt of Discord or OBS to hook the rendering library (in this case Vulkan but it's really not part of the equation). CS2 only lets you capture if you launch with specific flags. A lot of modern cheats actually work via Computer Vision (reading the framebuffer) rather than direct injection to avoid detection so some games opt to reject any attempt to access the framebuffer
