#Titan K225: Mining companions damage gun turrets

I tried to narrow the behaviour, and my impression/observation is: A mining companion mounted on either side will damage the guns on that side.

In flight, mining companions installed to K225 docking bays cause damage to guns, as soon as you press ENTER to open the excavator. You don't even need to manouver a lot, just trying to collect ore will quickly trash the weapons in the process.
This might come from the fact that companions, while docked in bay (unreleased), engage their grinders. The companions seem to cause collisions, because guns take misalignment damage. It gets even weirder because even companions installed in rear bays cause damage to guns on front mountings.

I tried two scenarios:
• (A) Front 2x PDMWG, Fwd.bays turret [L] + drones [R], Mid.bays m.comp [L+R] (as in screenshot)
• (B) Front 2x PDMWG, Fwd.bays turret [L] + min.comp [R], Mid.bays drones [L+R]
(Rear bays held THIMCs in both scenarios)

In case A, even tho companions were in middle, they damaged all guns in front.
In case B, only 1 comp was on right, and trashed only front right MW turret.

Problem does not occur when I release (undock) the companion: once it's out of the bay, no more collision dmg. As soon as it's re-docked (returned to bay), when I engage the excavator, it almost instantly damages guns.

Savegame/logs included, but should be reproducable. (v1.59.7 stable, Win7, [email protected])

As a thought... tbh I haven't tried mining companions on older ships bc I always enjoyed "manual" mining (flying the ship + haul drones), so there may be ships where it's helpful that companions, hanging on the side, open their grinders.
But for the Titan, it makes no sense, because of the bays. They should do absolutely nothing until released, not even bounce around. Using docking clamps, magnets... I'm sure future space engineers find a way to ensure a container/companion is properly attached, and not banging against the hull. 😀 (At least that's how I would design it.) Basically stopping their physics simulation when in bay, but I'm not sure how easy that is to implement.

Indeed, I intend to solve that by wiring the cradles on the Titan to not pass the "open grinders" command.
