The Tetsuo HMX-2000I is a good tool to use all the iron that would otherwise be weighing you down. The only issue is it can only be put on a few ships. How about a version that can go on Low stress hardpoints.
Perhaps have it fire in very short bursts with a slow rate of fire to not overwhelm the low stress hardpoint and recoil dampener.

I suspect that the current implementation is just a quick, low scope implementation to see how it will work. Though after testing the experimental branch, I’m not seeing the recoil we are expecting.
