A drone, like the mining companion, that when released goes close to large roids and starts extracting remass from them. The drone will continue going from roid to roid until its internal fuel tank is full. Then it will try to return to the Cradle of the ship and transfer the majority of its remass.
I was thinking that perhaps the player ship has to beam power to the drone so it can power its cryo collection rings and Whatever what are used to heat the roids. And the player can decide how much power will be sent in the tuning menu on the station.
