It does work pretty ok as is. Well it died for some reason 3/4 into the dive
It was almost out of range by the time i noticed. I dont know if it hit too many rocks or just ran out of fuel, but even dead it was working for my needs pretty well, just had to stop before releasing it again.
I had to take it back on my ship, instead of sending it home. This resulted in getting 35K credits when astrogating home. In the logs it was titled "ships". Did i got awarded for rescuing my own container drone? Never noticed this before.
So id say, a follow option is not necessary. If we would add a command, a "stay put" command might be more useful, to keep it out of trouble. But it is working as is. Thanks!
