Particle beam?

Basically a jacked laser, high power drain (or maybe particles straight from the reactor? Heat?), shorter range than lasers, maybe a wide beam? Could be limited to high-stress only, could be a low-stress as well depending on how it's balanced. While it might seem simmilar to the NANI and lesson, it would not work like a thruster, and unlike the NANI - it wouldn't wear out that quick. The beam would also be visible when fired, unlike the lasers which require a medium

I think the closest thing that's already in the game is the Gungnir, which is literally a particle accelerator turned into a gun.

A wild guess for a continuous particles beam would be a plasma thrower with some sort of magnetic confinement that increases the range. No idea honestly if that's physically possible though.
