"Fly by repairs" from salvage ships

Essentially, wouldnt it be cool if salvage ships you come across could offer some sort of on the spot maintenance service on your ship?

Right now all they do is either give you a poi, or insurance (which kinda doesnt make much sense imo), it be nice if they could use maintenance drones to reduce some wear n tear on your ship during dive?

it would make sense for those rescue ships to have at least some form of repair equipment, they are used for rescue missions afterall. Having the ability to do some quick patchwork on some scuffed reactors or breached hull would be logical

Insurance is done in spare parts from derelicts they haul back and they dont carry any equipment on them so no drones. They are there to haul back disabled ships so state of reactor does not bother them as it is not powered.

This is somewhere on our backlog. Something like paying for 'support' standing which would translate into drone deployment. We need the feature to be able to launch drones at friendly targets (because the capabilities of our ships and the enemy ships are basically the same), but it is somewhere in the backlog, if I remember correctly.

you could also get paid for fixing other ships after combat or if you witness someone having a bad crash
