#An inward curl on the edge of the OCP bay edges.

Wouldn't that counter the whole idea that this ship can rotate without turning its cargo?
I swear I remember more discussion about this, including having proposed a geometry for them in graphics.
Could have them push out only while it's open, or could just accept that it's minimal interaction rather than none.
Ah, it was in #experimental-feedback.
It could be a leaf like this, that lays flat while closed:
Or, mostly flat. Lays curved. Whatever.
this doesn't really address the "you spin the ship and it will launch all the ore all over your cargo bay while the ship is advertised to explicitly not do that to its cargo", right?
also, it probably just moves the goalpost to a second layer of your ore
I'm pretty sure I said that already too 🙂
The hope is that ore sliding along your cargo bay deflects enough to hit the opposite door. My personal concern was mostly that when I'm drift mining, ore that goes in is constantly floating back out, because if it hits a curve indirectly, it just 'rolls' around the bay until it floats back out.
