Aye, particularly relevant with Companions I think.
Companions have a limited number of ore chunks they can pick up/no processor, so they're wasted on low value chunks and you only want them to go after high-value; but if you have haul drones also eating high-value chunks, they directly compete with the companions and they waste each other's fuel/drones.
