Hey I’m a semi new dm to lancer (been following it for years but never got the chance to run it) which module should I run for a group of 4-6 new players. I was gonna do wallflower but I’ve see a lot of people recommend winter scar and solstice rain so I don’t know what to do?

if ur running for new players, run solstice rain

Winter Scar is the continuation of solstice rain, so if everything goes well you can give them that next

#

And after both of those, you and your players should have faced pretty much everything you're expected to know about at least once

Just a little word of caution: From what i've read the game tends to get a bit weird if you have more than 5 players, in terms of action economy and damage.

But playing Solstice Rain -> OWS is a really good start.

Yup, official modules only give pre-made OpFors for 3 to 5 players. Given you should try to stick to them while you're all starting, I wouldn't go to 6 players yeah

#

Then again, 6 players is a lot to handle in general, so especially for a new and complex system, going for fewer players instead of more might make a better experience for everyone involved

It’s looking to be 5 players thanks everyone for the advice

would cap at 5 myself (that's what I currently do), 4 players really is ideal for the system I find most the time tbh

#

(I've run two parties semiconcurrently for some time now and one shrunk to 4 players recently and became a lot more easy to run fights for with the reduced headcount)
