we've just started a daggerheart campaign, so far its pretty fun, ill admit social anxiety is making the roleplay parts difficult for me, as with any system, but i think the system does a good job at smoothing them out for me
we're doing the wild west collosus campaign setting thing, i was struggling to figure out where my sea-themed seraph dwarf would fit in, and everyone else also had some mildly weird characters they couldnt quite place right, and somehow, through working with the other players to figure this all out, it ended up being this bizzaro wizard of oz styled backstory where i was called here by my god and picked up our group of weirdos along the way, one by one

We fought this giant thing and tried to climb up it and it shook us off and stomped all over us and instead of going "oh hey maybe we should attack the limbs" we just tried to climb it again, so it was mostly our fault tbh 😭

idk how much i should spoil so some spoilers for the collossus campaign if anyone cares:
||we fought a fucking train. one of our party members, the ranger, got run over by it. it was a crit. our rangers severe damage threshold is 18. they took 101.||

It jept triny to pick us hp and drop us but it never suceadully dropped anyone
I can fly, ranger vine-grappled bacj up to the talon when droppdd, and the bard used stasis on his clothes to hanf in the air (where he was stuck for the rest of the combat while the bird kept ramming into him)
