#Helldivers 2: For Managed Democracy!
1 messages · Page 75 of 1
Sure, just ping me when you're ready.
bro what is that unknown file
unknown
Yeah this MO can go right to hell, it's brutal.
You are correct spear is the best
What does it take for a railgun to kill a BT?
If you aren't a coward and the titan is running straight on top of you the spear actually flies directly into its face
Shoot the connective tissue between its jaws when it vomits
How many shots when it vomits?
Jaw shots in general do decent damage
But vomiting jaw webbing is almost a 1 shot
(And used to be)
Okay, I'm free.
This is my account number for anyone who wants it: A7EE31256A65C913
What kind of account is that for?
Yeah uh, I'm confused
The numbers what do they mean
Well, anyone wanna group up while we get the Numbers sorted?
<@&1206091872716595200>
I'll be around in a bit!
Sounds good
apparently it's been aknowledged by devs that bugs shouldn't be supposed to spawn right on the drill
Also something about the endless spawning which I assume refer to extraction shrieker might have been unintended behavior
kind of hope the hotfix doesn't take too long <.<
Also I'm wondering if the MO isn't already rigged to portray whatever is supposed to happen when Meridia is "destroyed". I feel that even some of the more arcane MO before offered SOME mean of tracking progress? Here I don't quite see much things like a progress bar on the MO
it's like we do the missions for the MO but I'm not sure where we're supposed to see how close we get to "goal"? It's really odd
the regen was initially at 10%, when the highest before was 5%. its been slowly decreasing over time, it's 6.3% now
also they have outcomes prepared for win or loss
regen?
players completing missions makes number go up, regen makes number go down
Planets have a regen stat that represents the enemy's taking/holding ground
so the playerbase has to commit hard enough as a whole to overcome the regen % and push progress forward
Ok
I was wondering as it feels like Meridia isn't budging at all :/
Or rather is it normal the ONLY tracker we have is the one on the galactic map? I feel most other MO at least had a progress bar in the MO itself
I've basically given up on the Major Order and taken myself back to my home on the bot front. I can't deal with this stuff.
<@&1206091872716595200> looking for a 4th
Love how Super Earth still refuses to admit that this is 100% the result of the Termicide plan
yuuuup
I personally think player numbers rn are just too low to support math made to support several hundred thousand players on at all hours of the day
this doesnt really apply for liberation % because lib % is only based off the percentage of total active players on a planet
it doesnt matter if theres 60k active players or just 10, its just the percentage of the playerbase on a planet
I need to dial my eye back in
But its ability to make a whole patrol disappear makes me take it a lot haha
yeah fr
It’s also HILARIOUS if buddy loaded
i might try and tweak a loadout around it soon
as always I worry about anti-heavy capability
maybe you roll Thermites?
entirely possible you just ditch anti-infantry strikes with how effective the launcher is and go like
500kg/airstrike/cluster launcher/OPS, Autocannon turret or smth
I've been really enjoying the railgun lately.
That and the Defender/Senator + ballistic shield has revolutionized my bot game.
I might drop the $10 to get the warbond with the Pummeler. It's kind of the last missing piece.
the Pummeler really does pop off
The shield and the Senator just straight up let me bully Heavy Devastators right back.
I still find Rocket Devastators to be a bit of a chore, but that shield has been a real gamechanger.
And the railgun is a real multitool for bots.
It hits hard, it reloads fast for follow-up shots. You have the spicy option if you feel you need some more oomph.
I rarely use Unsafe though.
New update fixed the spawns for the new mission
@trail nymph where'd you go today, btw?
got called away to help with some stuff thought it would be like 5 minutes ended up being 2 hours
sorry for the inconvenience
all good
i'm available now if anyone wants to dive
I can dive shortly
Just having some food and shit first, probably 15 minutes or so?
@trail nymph sorry, things have taken lkonger than i expected
Okay, the mission is way, way (almost disampoitnigly so) more chill post patch
boooo
but the patch does work you dont get breaches right ontop of you
also i learned the backpack kills you if you jetpack too much
oh really?
Because it's very very funny?
Did they fix the weird non-existent secondary objective part of the mission type too?
Fantastic
That's not fixed, Baskinator has mentioend they're sorting it and are apologietic about it
Ah well, the breaches being less ridiculous is fine by me for the time being
Yay, we're finally making progress on Destroy Planet! Should be done before the MO expires.
Ooof, i am getting hosed today
Did we blow up Meridia?
NOT YET
ow my back
no but unlike yesterday the campaign progress bar is actually... progressing. Notable considering there's only 46k playerson Meridia this morning compared to the 60k+ active of yesterday where it wouldn't budge an itch in the slightest
honestly I feel it's indeed had time to move a little by the time I complete a single mission so... good?
Although I prefer fighting bots to bugs, I really wish that most bots weren't impervious to damage from the front and also capable of tracking you like they're nailed to you.
the liberation % only progresses based of the proportion of active players, not the number of them
when you get above 20 kills with a single bombardment
me when i get 20+ kills with airburst launcher
good shit
Oh to run airburst launcher, when I play with randos on rare occasions and everyone brings AT it feels nice to bring it
The patrol deleter
If something looks like it can call reinforcement I point and click at it before it can
I just mean, I'm glad to see the campaign progress bar actually... progressing ^^;
Because it means Meridia can bleed.
And if it can bleed, we can ki-.... I mean, dark fluid implode it.
I have unlocked Suicide Missions on pre-patch Major Order Meridia. I want to see this through 😠
I haven't this problem.
I think GameGuard is catching false positives somehow bc it's the only thing that pops up
Only issue has been my first crash to desktop instead of a crash-that-reboot-my-PC and it only happened once(meanwhile I dunno if it's the fiddling with my PC that did it but the later hasn't happened yet)
@honest acorn saved my life with the Airburst launcher earlier!
By shooting me with it so I flew backwards and didn't get hit by @stone bridge Orbital Airburst.
#planned
Airburst Launcher preventing friendly fire? Alright time to nerf, it's too much.
Nothing gets in the way of me and friendly fire
Of course. That's why there were zero questions on how I survived or why I was still alive afterwards
I was trying out the Tenderizer today and I really like it.
It kind of feels like what I thought the Liberator Penetrator would feel like.
Even though I don't think it has medium armor pen.
It doesnt
Well, I'm going to be replacing it with the Pummeler once I unlock that but I do like this assault rifle.
Tenderizer just needs some extra damage imo
Yeah the tendy thing is in the known issue list now
meridia extraction experience
just had a BT spew on me while facing 90 degrees away from me 😦
they're adapting every day
the bugs are learning trick shots...
The bile was coming straight through the foreleg, couldn't even see the head!
Zack Snyder thought it was cool
no extra explanation needed
Hm? how come?
just kills me too often
hunter jumps on me, sets me on fire
really need a reduced fire damage armor set
I use the personal shield for that
Personal shield prevents the flamethrower flames from going back to you and setting you on fire
Although you will still get hurt by ground fire
Let's you do real Lmb+W builds
That's not true, sadly. Personal Shield as a Flamethrower main is all about stopping hunters clonking you, blocking other slow sources, and saving you from teammates helping with airstrikes sex
I think this is the first time I've succeeded on one of these drill missions and we still ran completely out of respawns.
Hooray.
Congrats, Pummeler is one of the best primaries IMO
Pummeler and Ballistic Shield is so good against bots since it not only bullies bots extra hard but it covers some of the shields weakness which is berserkers and rocket troopers/devastators by staggering them
i really hope they give the two lesser pummelers a bit of a shift at some point
I read up to 2 lesser pummelers and thought it was a post about wanting a dual wield mini pummelers and I was 100% agreeing
Although I agree the other concussive weapons needs adjusting
Hell yeah
holy shit
We came out of a mission and got an emergency FTL jump back to Super Earth.
im so mad i missed it
i hope we have to pop a planet again some time soon
I Imagine if you hovered over the planet and the stats says like 1 helldiver squad still on the the planet when you see that
They're playing helldivers 3 now
The bugs are gone.
surely nothing bad will come of this
Anyway it was cool, we did an emergency warp away to Super Earth.
Yippee yay!
Good, hopefully I will never have to fight bugs again.
though I have noticed I did not get the medals for the major order completing
It takes a bit.
give it a bit
fair
all we do is win win win no matter what
first the epic victory against the bots and now against the bugs
lol
Super Earth stays winning baby
got a brief look at the hive lord must be, must be coming to the game soon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZ2Clscn0Jg&t=95s

It's almost time. SUMMER GAME FEST streams live in 4K on YouTube this Friday at 2p PT / 5p ET / 10p BST / 11p CEST.
Here's the SGF trailer Geoff Keighley edited to get us in the mood for the show. Games in this trailer highlight incredible moments from games in 2024 a...
if it's this part, that's from a dune game
though i might've missed another part that whizzed by for a frame or two
Guys where the fuck did Meridia go
I logged off last night after doing a few dives there
oh shit it is, saw the helmet and thought that was h2
it's gone
we destroyed it with dark fluid
hell yeah
I hated the extract portion of those dark fluid drops
couldn't even see the sky half the time
Helldivers: 1
Bugs: 0
Termicide wasn't an L, that implies the breeding problem it caused slowed our patriotic Helldivers down for a minute
true patriot words here
It was all planned, the increased spores lead to our personal dark fluid black hole that got rid of most spores
Without termicide we wouldn't have a black holes to throw stuff in
I've been throwing my used mechs in there, it's not like the bugs can use it
Misread as "idiotic helldivers" and well, where's the lie.
reporting you to my democracy officer for hurting my feelings :(
I was accurately describing myself and "Jetpacking onto tanks to laser cannon them is an efifcent tactic" 😄
Self deprecating commentary is still unpatriotic, Helldiver
if you destroy those tanks with that strat then it serves Super Earth's victory
It's true self deprecation is still an attack on a helldiver and that is treason
report to your nearest democracy therapist, helldiver!
What's really unpatrioctic is i somehow just killed myself with the verdict?
That's fine death happens all the time with Helldivers it's no biggie
They usually arent self inflicted from a handcannon tho;
It's living helldivers that can file complaints and that use valuable resources
I think i somehow got flipped into my own shot?
yeah most likely
I do have to wonder now how long before the Illuminati(or their stand-in, if we get a treatment akin to the bot where something similar but not exactly show up in successor kind of way) show up
Considering we just turned Meridia into a black hole I can't imagine they'll ignore us for much longer
I reckon it'll be pretty soon
honestly I'm eager to fight a new faction <.<;
The Pummeler struggles a bit to seal the deal, I've noticed. But this is vastly outweighed by the fact that it just straight up leaves Devastators and Berserkers completely vulnerable to my teammates.
And even if they don't, I have enough of a window to whip out the railgun and wombo-combo the offending bot.
just to see what tricks they'll have and what different meta to expect(I've noticed that while I default to the Antimateriel Rifle against bots, I almost instinctively become designated flamethrower gal when fighting bug using stealth armor to flank patrols of bugs with a firewall from my flamethrower while allies attack from the front)
honestly this make me curious as I've enjoyed the base punisher against those enemies for similar reason of just staggering them when allies with better AP weapons take them out
They just stop moving entirely if you put enough Pummeler rounds in them.
It behaves a bit like how EMS fields work.
ooooo
Funny enough I've kind of settled on the stalwart for bugs
(I don't usually dive past 5 difficulty so output beats penetration when I'm going bugstomping)
I used to main an smg but I'm giving the armour-penetrating liberator a shot
And the revolver never leaves my loadout
For bots I like the grenade launcher or the autocannon
uh neat. I actually struggled with the Stalwart myself (it feels a bit too... light? It's hard to say).
Flamethrower I've specifically enjoyed for area denial and BBQing Chargers in a pinch even if that's more risky. Though as I've not unlocked level 7 missions(and I managed that on pre-patch Meridia no less which I'm oddly happy about even if it was likely more that I had good allies) I am finding it feels like it's starting to have less of a punch at those levels than I'd like so I may have to get the ship upgrade that boost fire damage.
The stalwart is definitely light
I 100% agree
I'd use the HMG or regular MG on bug drops but I can run and reload with a Stalwart
The Stalwart feels like a Liberator with a vastly extended magazine.
It’s a main weapon disguised as a support.
That’s how I’ve felt about it when I’ve tried it, anyway.
Yep, that's why I used it before pre-nerf Eruptor.
I saw a YouTube video saying that the stalwart is referred to as the "liberator mg" in the code
(They also concluded that the liberator damage buff was also applied to the stalwart, but idk about that)
People also say they use the same ammo? Which may or may not be meaningful in the code, I can't say
More or less yeah
considering how much ammunition the bugs eat up it's probably why I lean on it so much
same same, but also skill issue
I don't think that's ah elpful way to view fire. You hoenstly get chip ignited really eaisly no matter what you're doing, and even if you know about the wind mechanic (did you know there's wind in game and it affects how the fire deforms and flows off targets on hitting them?), actually doing anything meaningful with that is basically impossible
Yeah you just gotta be ready to dive if you use the flamer much
You will get set on fire eventually
Yeah
If you dive early enough fire is basically just chip
But it will happen eventually
Oh my god apparently the black hole's sound is ||the illuminate combat theme distorted with whale noises||
now that is a beatiful hole
oh sure when meridian posts hole it's "beautiful" but when I do it-
yipee
LMAO I SHOULDA GRABBED A SCREENCAP
you can still go back
We made it 😌
Super Earth ordered the destruction of Meridia, which got transformed into a Terminid Supercolony by the malfunctioning TCS
We used Dark Fluid, a former Illuminate superweapon, to induce artificial gravitational collapse
ohhh
And now, black hole! There will be no consequences to this action
...I feel like you collapsed Meridia too well
Super Earth W woooooo
🥳
No one from Super Earth could collapse Meridia as good as the Helldivers!
This'll be another bright day in the history books for Democracy
Nothing will ever go wrong again.
Not like the LAST time we trusted those exact same scientists who told us to do this.
no those ones were executed rmb
me looking at the pictures and videos of the blackhole:
can i point out that thats definitely a portal or is that still treason for the moment
Illuminate will probably drop this Thursday
would be funny if the illuminate showed up unblackholed the planet and then left like "we aint fucking with that again"
Hell, i'd argue part of being a good flamethrower main is learning when and how to dive - if you watch me, you'll often see me just endure being on fire for a while and eventually dive backwards/dive to the side because it was... better to do it that way
True, but a lot of the time you can just spam dive and it'll be fine
You can, but i find that spam divei s a good way to get swarmed and you end up taking more damage trying to stabilioze the sitaution
as always YMMV
hmmmmm
they called out Moradesh specifically in the closing dispatch
What are the odds of something happening there?
Low now that it’s being decommissioned something probably would have had we failed
Do you think that there will ever be a point in which we black hole like more than 4 planets?
Illuminate station
Take that you damn alien bastards
violating the terms of their surrender
:dukenukem:
Hey it was obviously a bug sympathizer plot to drag the squids into the war because the biological killing machines were losing the battle against freedom and managed democracy
The unreleased art for the illuminate did seem a bit termindy compared to HD1 illuminate
I sure it's just a coincidence
I vaguely remember that the Terminites and Illuminates also werent at war?
It kinda was a SE versus all
Yeah
I think orbital laser is too high
I feel airstrike needs to go up, while Flamethrower needs to go down
i do not, Orbital lasers are magnetically attracted to me
Honestly, when it comes to butchering teams, that thing does work
I don't think its higher than airstrike
the only reason Orbital laser tends to not teamkill is cause
a) you rarely use it, compared to others
b) you tend to throw it in an area and then leave it alone
I see way way way more deaths to laser than I ever do deaths to Flamethrower
but whenever you use orbital laser in active combat it swings back and forth to optimize teamkilling potential
The laser has killed me more than flamethrower.
Me as the Orbital Laser chases a Hunter coming at me at Mach Die:
It's also EXTREMELY visible
I could easily do an instant team wipe with a cluster, it's not even hard
I had a mission about 24 hours ago where the vast majority of deaths were all team kills.
And most of those were airstrikes and a player who's attitude to 380 was "yes"
still faster than me
I expect people to run into Cluster bombs
It's visible but can sneak up fast. You see a flash for a second then you're instant dead from the laser
If it's coming from behind
Anyway I mostly share this because it's funny
Laser also leaves fire behind.
tho i think the worst thing is that it lasts so long
A cluster strike near you? you can notice it and avoid it and then continue
laser? You see it, you avoid it, you keep fighting and then 2 minutes later it decides the scavenger 30m behind you needs to die and cuts you in half
I've never seen a laser teamkill in the last 40 or so hours of playing this game, since I've ended up running it almost every mission and got it pretty when I started. The number of times I've killed myself on the fire of my own laser, however, is like at least three, and the number of times I've come very close probably requires more than two hands to count.
i am currently laughing my ass off. Decided to check up on if anything had happened to my support ticket with Arrowhead yet
For reference: i sent an email to them and did not get any email notification. i just checked and not anything in the spamfolder either
Incredible
Bizzare
I’m just glad I don’t have to do that mission type again.
It did give me an appreciation for the jump pack though.
I might start using it for bug missions because it’s good for when you just need to Exit Situation in a hurry.
I shoulda given it a shot
My ass ended up relying on the gatling and MG sentries and the Guard Dog drone
Gotta maximize that fire output while you wait on pelican one
Well, the tank of dark fluid doubled as a jump pack. So it kind of forced it on me, and I found it useful for escape from bad times.
Breaker Incendiary was pretty required on higher Meridia Dark Fluid missions. It really makes efficien work out of all the shriekers and lesser bugs.
Firing it wildly into the clouds of shriekers was about the only way for me to survive extraction.
In hindsight I kind of wish I had the Pummeler at the time. Seems like it would’ve been helpful to keep the bugs off of the drill.
i want a dark fluid infusion ship upgrade for the jump pack now...
OK cool, Termicide 2.0. Good to know we learned absolutely nothing.
What’s the definition of insanity again?
I DON'T KNOW BROTHER, SUPER EARTH RECRUITED ME TO SHOOT, NOT TO READ
"even-more-perfectly designed" is the funniest fucking descriptor
lmfao
It what?
surely this could never come back to bite us
Who's ready to dive on the Supermega giant colony world?
INSANITY IS WHEN YOU DONT KNOW WHATS GOOD FOR YOU AND SPEAK AGAINST SUPER EARTH EVEN TACITLY
as is laid out in the SDSM 1000000 (Super Earth Diagnostic Statistical Manual One Million)
(With the help of Super Psychology, You Too can become a statistic in our great war machine)
Someone made a typo and said bike titan https://www.reddit.com/r/Helldivers/s/vB1MNm0y3l
oh, that's great, lmao
how goes the not portal?
still fine....for now
i say we nuke it just to be sure
And waste one of the 20 billion freedom warheads? Don't be silly I'm sure it's fine
Super excited for next patch though, even if it's not illuminate it's still supposed to be big
I wanna go to fenris again is Fenris open for liberating yet?
You're absolutely right, let's send a detachment of Helldivers to investigate instead just to be sure
Alas, it gets consistently defended because people like it.
omg
but also this is a LOT of focus on the bugs in MO I have to say so far
wouldn't mind a Bot Major Order again
Kill 6 billion ???????
These terminid illegal broadcasts are getting serious enough to interfere with major order transmissions
Live Illuminate Reaction
the intro screen with Meridia in the background is fucking sick
eeep?
"A recent study shows a significant number of Helldivers park their ships in orbit of former planet Meridia when not engaging in active campaign efforts. Experts theorize that Super Earth's finest like to reflect on the resounding triumphs of the past during their periods of rest, searching for wisdom and tactics that may be applied to future victories."
heh
Question for my democracy officer, I've been doing nothing but dumping used mechs into Merida for the last 3 days
no one tell super earth about blackhole bombs
Yeah, no, I've just been using it to dump trash into.
When you stare into the abyss the abyss stares back. Then I feed it trash cause how could you say no to those hungry void puppy eyes
Oh, you shouldn't give your Void table scraps. It's bad for them.
DO IT FOR SUPER THRONE
I feel like all the emphasis on the bugs lately is going to bite us in the ass because the bots are going to take advantage of it sometime down the road.
I wish the planets would be switched up a bit more - I know it has to do with the supply lines (or something), but I feel like it's very often the same planets (I think the hellmire meme is overdone, but it does come up a lot)
With Merida taken out, Hellmire was the only path to reconquer some planets.
dread it, run from it, Hellmire arrives all the same
Also, I have good news, the bots have already taken advantage of it. We've lost so much territory over there.
Planets we had access to about 2 months ago: Charon Prime, Martale, Menkent, Lesath
Like
that's not good
From the first failed Anti-Tank Mine seizing, we have lost so much on the Bot side.
And the past few MO's have seen Vernen Wells, one of our training facilities, drop from fully taken to almost gone.
Like, even when we get Bot MOs, so many people just refuse to leave the bug front that it gets demoralizing.
as a bug hater, i'm on the bot front with y'all
Thank you.
bugs suck ass to fight so i'm there with the bots
We're on the certain win point for the Bug MO right now, so I'll be headed back to the Bots myself.
THEY WANT THE CREEK
Can't wait to fight on the creek again
It'll be my first time on the creek, funny enough
I didn't get a good enough PC to run helldivers with until like, just after the bots returned
The Terminid Supercolony could not have been destroyed without the brave sacrifice of many, many Helldivers.
In their honor, this personalized memorandum has been issued to their designated next-of-kin. We will always remember [Helldiver Name]. https://t.co/fHLljtbKTo
💖 1.39K 🔁 121
I missed the first round on the Creek and I want my turn.
Also, this has been annoying me since I started playing. I really don’t understand the bughumpers and I’ve said as much several times.
I think fighting bots is a lot more fun.
I agree but I think for a lot of people it's familiarity with horde shooters and terminids are similar to melee horde enemies like zombies or bugs
In most shooters ranged enemies usually don't out number your team size like in HD2 let alone a horde of them so it's new and scary
LITERALLY
I'm usually a bot front player and it's frustrating to struggle and fail
Fight the bots!
Tbh the series of bugs-only MO and the major medals rewards from doing a MO probably didn't help the bot front.
Though then again yeah
Though I was less active during the failed MOs
I love me my bots, bugs just ain't the same. I've had some fun with them over these MOs, though. And hey, there'll be Illuminate someday, so hopefully that will be dope, and I'll probably spend a lot of time fighting them! Unless they come out towards the end of this month because I will be playing Elden Ring
Department of heroic sacrifice lmao

You know what I want like an arc grenade that likes zaps like 3-5 enemies with high damage arcs, something that's most effective against a small group of medium enemies
Or at least the not cannon fodder
I could get so many friendly fire kills with something like that...
We need Super Earth to manufacture these things STAT
Probably as a reward for a Bug MO
fuck them bugs, we bots now
Man does the Pummeler + ballistic shield combo rule.
That plus the railgun has enabled me to hunt Devastators for sport.
Hmm I saw an interesting idea for a stun gun secondary on reddit
Nature is healing, it's not all about complaining until next patcb
I saw an idea a while ago that proposed having Pelican 1 orbit to lay down autocannon fire.
I saw a whole post that's about pelican stratagems where it's like a flying turret that rains death from above but has charges similar to eagle 1
But it circles a large area and stays for a short time
I have yet to see a single bot get supressed
really wish games modelled suppression that isn't like an RTS (rare)
I mean, the suppression manifests as inaccuracy
Ehh that meme was a little too mean-spirited, I think.
<@&1206091872716595200> im bored whos down
I will be after dinner, gimme like an hour
nice
sure
I'm sorta in a chill phase with helldivers atm, just doing elden ring for a bit. I'll probably be back in a few days once patch and warbond etc hit
This is a nice trick
aggro a turret, hide behind the detector tower
turret kills the detector tower
Welcome to the jungle, Helldivers. You won't have time to bleed when the new Viper Commandos Warbond deploys on June 13.
Additionally, High Command have approved the rollout of our first vehicle customization…

Okay we might have a banger on our hands here
damn
Mozambique, Sleeveless armor, Baret, Knoife, and the camo looks a bit boring, but i'm excited for the system itself
Experimental infusion...
wack? how?
mabye this will be enough to get me to play
only reason I dont play is becuase I cant stream it
not that ive been streaming lately
also further question
CAN we just melee with the knife ?
So if i'm reading it right, the Knife is a grenade replacement? Which is spicy.
Catachan jungle fighters lets go
Also this bit is notable:
"Firstly, we have been listening to your feedback as we develop our Warbonds in general. The idea behind each Warbond is to allow our Helldivers to roleplay their favorite soldier fantasies within our universe, but it’s important that these are fantasies that actually appeal to our players.
Based on player input, we’re changing our approach to Warbonds moving forward in a couple of ways. Firstly, we’re slowing down the pace at which we release Warbonds to give us a little bit more time to polish these designs before they’re released. We don’t want to rush anything out of the oven before it’s fully baked.
Secondly, we are changing the arrangement of items in each Warbond to make room for new item types, and also higher quality armor and weapons. This will prevent us from simply adding more of everything, which can lead to weapons that feel redundant and uninteresting armor. It’s time to focus on quality over quantity. When we started researching items for Viper Commandos, we wanted to be sure we answered our player calls for stronger theming that coordinates across all the items, more emotes, unique armor passives, and more thoughtful designs rather than simply giving more of the same. We can’t wait for players to get a hold our latest addition, so let’s dive into what’s in store."
TLDR: Slower pace of warbonds (No indication of what slower is, just slower). Less weapons/armor in each warbond, but more new cosmetics in return
Also new titles.
Cool!
Gonna guess that it'll be a 6 week cadence rather than 4 week cadence.
"Both armors in this Warbond feature the Peak Physique passive, which improves melee damage and weapon handling."
New armor passive too.
Oh, the throwing knife might actually be on melee? Dunno, guess we'll find out.
Also, that planet they show is a biome that's not been on any existing planets.
wish t hey would release the silenced weapons already
Bonking people with eat tube is right in front of you
I've been using one of the armors with the prosthetic arm and leg because of that guy in Starship Troopers with one arm left who's like "The Mobile Infantry made me the man I am today!"
oh sweet, that shotgun seems real nice
Secondary Shotgun!!!!
melee? so either we getting melee weapons or we can go full jojo on them fools
We one melee weapon in HD1 so it's stand to reason we could see one or more come to this game
Give us the sword, Arrowhead
Btw, the skin tone on the biceps is randomized.
Get ready for the Usual Suspects™️ to start having a fit over it.
glorious
oh my god thats even better than none of them being white
Whole thing looks great, just not my cup of tea
am not a fan of tea my self either so understandable
Tbh gonna buy it just for this
New Warbond looks neat, but I'm gonna wait till next patch to see if the Polar Patriot guns get buffed into a state where I'd use them first. New weapons/armour are what I generally get warbonds for, so unsure how I feel about this more cosmetic focused approach they're taking in the future.
If it's going to be 1000 SC as long as they keep the same number of weapons i'm good. They haven't introduced new armor effects in a while
I think last was arc resistance?
I wonder how shuttle cosmestic will work, does it take the pattern of the host or whoever calls it get
New booster gives stims a boost to movement speed and reduces damage? Medic armor gonna look goated
this warbond's gonna have new ones
Hrm, that's the thing, there's only 2 new guns in this one by the looks of it
2 Guns and I assume the knife replaces grenades?
Only sensible slot for it.
We get a knife and we can only throw it, RIP melee fans
And armor effect spoilers? ||Reddit says it boosts melee damage and weapon handling? Real Destiny 2 Titan hours with big punch and big guns||
||If they fix Eruptor then this would make it feel so nice||
yerp
I'd hope it has the ability to stab and slash with the throwing knife. I get it's a throwing knife but COME ON I TOTALLY AM GOING TO USE IT TO 100% STEALTHMODE THINGS
Give me a knife, fix my crossbow.
Oh damn that's a good point, assuming it's silent cause throwing knife it'd be the first stealth utility
I'm guessing it's no longer really a grenade slot now the throwing knife is a part of it
Stealth armor and throwing knives to just play MGSV
Also shotgun pistol looks neat
Would I spend 1000 SC solely for a hellpod pattern? Yes
I imagine this'll sell well, solely for the armors. Lotsa people prolly gonna try and be Catachan cosplayers
PLEAAASEEEE
I'm still saving up enough super credits but I need that drip
Oh goody, the bot front should be easier to organize now.
We're down to four planets we can access.
ooughhh catachan time
You guys ever have a moment in a mission that you think about for a long time after? Last night I single-handedly kept the bots on me while the rest of the team did the objectives relatively unmolested and wound up not dying the whole mission to boot.
I felt ten feet tall and invincible.
Stupid as the setting is, the game is very good at giving you moments like that.
It's a low floor high ceiling game, if you do good you can definitely carry hard
And when you’re firing on all cylinders, you can feel like a hero for just a second.
Then you remember that none of this is necessary in-universe and Super Earth only sends you in because it’s more cost-effective.
It makes me laugh every time. The joke is on me and I’m always really pleased with it when I spot it again.
I think the devs have soft said on twitter that everything that happens in mission is canon
Pfft. That’s pretty funny.
most missions I manage to rack up the most kills
There's very much tiktoks of helldivers doing very questionable things on the battlefield and it's funny to think that that particular helldiver is doing that after being unfrozen and died like a mision later
I enjoy feeling like doomguy
I had a mission the other day where I had over 250 kills and the next person had under 100.
Again, I felt very cool.
Thinking about that clip of someone landing their mission start hellpod inside one of those tiny death pits no wider than the hellpod and instantly dying
I did that once.
one time I dropped into some kinda like
crevice and had to lob a grenade to blast myself out of it
luckily I was running a good enough armour to not die so I stimmed and carried on
but it was funny to see myself clip through a solid wall
One time I managed to drop myself straight down a bug hole.
did you destroy the bug hole at least?
It destroyed the hole but also killed me.
then that's a good drop Helldiver
I got a medal that just looks like the “you tried” meme.
SES Hammer of the People
Spear of Service
I love any of the ships named "X of Family Values"
all I can ever think of is "Family guy ass ship"
SES Gauntlet of the Regime
SES Elected Representative of Family Values
purely becuase i couldn't find a longer name
SES Comptroller of Self Determination
currently Whisper of Midnight
its gonna have to have so many knives or do so much damage to be worth it vs impacts as an instant dps
Ok but consider if you had like 36 knifes and can rapid fire them instead
Become Dio
Also if that knife is not retrievable i'd be disappointed
the pride of pride
honestly "one knife but its retrievable and hits like a teuck" would also rule
i wonder what kinda armour pen itl have
it'll probably be disposable given it'll more likely have to work with engineering kit
unless that can be its own neat synergy
Maybe it'll be like 2-4 retrievable knives cause having 1 knife be on par with 4 grenades that knife would probably need strong single target damage
Late for ship names, but I love mine
I remain proud of Prophet of Audacity
SES Octagon of Family Values
So glad we got some family guys in the chat
Pride of Pride, how'd you know I was gay
Hammer of Dawn is mine
Gears of war fan I see
I'm no expert but the Hammer of Dawn itself feels like such a Super Earth thing to make
They got an equivalent I believe
Orbital Laser! 😄
Oh it's more the sentiment behind it
An immensely powerful orbital weapon that nethertheless causes more problems than it solves
And it still needs a helldiver to throw it
I think it'd be funny if we had a major order orbital that can glass a planet but we need like 6 billion stratagems thrown on the planet for it to not miss
SES Song of Twilight is mine
Gotta love poetic ship names
Yeah this still sounds like the orbital laser.
If we fail do we accidentally blow up Mars or something lol
Thats like, every single super destroyer
Think my current name is the SES Harbinger of Democracy
Harbinger of Liberty would go hard actually
SES Princess of Family Values
Another Family guy
Mine is SES Whisper of Twilight
SES STALLION OF STEEL
also this mf works fast

SES Halo of Glory
SES Will of War, as an allusion to one of the Judge's monologues in Blood Meridian and Sundowner in MGR by extension
Both of those guys would love Super Earth
Oh, it's another Bot MO. And to my disappointment but unfortunately not my surprise....
3 planets. That's all we have to take.
We just took 4 in the Bug MO.
And yet I have this nagging feeling that we're going to crash and burn.
Old name was better
My ships name is the SES Claw of Law
executor of the people 😎
"Just like the good old days after Malevelon Creek!"
Things are looking a little more up
That win time is... Not good.
Not in the slightest but I mean
I'll take any upward tick
If the bugstompers ever had any stones we'd have a way better outlook
Like they're not even gonna take Crimsica
I wish there was a way to just encourage people to get away from the bugs. The bots aren’t harder than the bugs, you just have to use different tools and different approaches. You have to fight both or you’re limiting yourself.
Yeah literally
More than limiting yourself, you limit Super Earth
Also I've been giving the armour penetrating liberator a shot and it isn't all that bad on the bot front
I found it to be sort of underwhelming, but it’s not bad.
I ran the Dominator for a while and I ended up not liking it.
But some swear by it! That kind of thing is part of why I find this game to be so much fun, you get a lot of different load outs.
the Dominator is best for close range engagements because the travel time of the projectiles makes long-range shots tricky
even mid-range is a bit dicy
but it fucking kicks
Its recoil was a bit too much for me and it always felt like I was fighting to get it on-target. That was the problem I had.
Since then I’ve found the Pummeler and a ballistic shield to be my bread and butter can opener.
I do agree that it's a lot more ammo hungry than the SMG I was running before it
Yeah the Defender
The Senator hasn't left my loadout since I got it
And it never will
Dominator is gonna be so nice with the new warbond armor that increases handling, also melee buff is welcomed for really close quarters
The possibility that the throwing knife won't be affected by the new armor is real depending on how it's handled, regardless it should work in a thematic sense
Throw harder = more hurt
Super samples at 6?!
huh?
Super samples at diff 6? Ok so who's been spying on me and knows 6 is my favorite diff
wait where'dja find this?
Says it on what you posted
3rd panel on the left of that meme
Also looking forward to others seeing supply lines
second week so probably next week
13th yeah
Can't wait for all the camo hellpods
It's gonna be extra fun on jungle planets when my teammates mistakes me for an enemy and hellpods me
aw man I actualkly got excited
only a few more days dw
its exam month every day rn feels like a 100 years
oh i am so sorry, good luck
<@&1206091872716595200> need to farm the money, so am once again requesting dudes
I can be on in a few minutes
Spear fix not directly mentioned 😂
I'm a single-issue Helldiver, and my issue is 'Spear'
I wouldn't mind if it blew a larger chunk outta Bile Titans
Same
It's anywhere from fine to excellent, assuming you can actually lock on to a target.
Being able to delete automaton assemblers from 200m away and move on with your life is amazing.
Yeah, if it was consistent it would be absolutely brilliant
But having a staring contest with a cannon turret is very annoying, as the turret tends to win that one
gunships dont last a second though
its the only target where nothing is going to obstruct ur view of it
True, we don't have a Stinger so the Spear will do
I like the feel of the Spear even if RR seems to do the same job but usually better
I think the breakpoints Spear meets that RR doesn't is on cannon towers, 1 shot with spear and 2 shots to vent with RR. And RR needs proper angles for fabs
And hulks, RR can target a weakpoint on a hulk while spear hits top of it's body or arms which is iffy
Just give Spear a little buff since it has less ammo than RR and slower time to fire alongside the lockon fix
As a treat
So it can reliably one-shot things, yes.
I'd also argue it should kill tanks better, but honestly tanks are so laughably easy to kill with Eagle strategems that it's not even necessary
I think with the lockon fix it’ll be perfectly good honestly
I agree
Partially because it will allow you to actually do some trickshot nonsense like angling it to hit Hulk eyes
Instead of having to fight the lock and firing the second it's ready
Because said lock might just decide to take the day off afterwards
If you don't have to spend 30+ seconds scooting side to side trying to find the sweet spot that lets you lock ANYTHING AT ALL, it'll be great.
Like, I've had missions where the Spear decided to work perfectly for some reason and those were so much fun
My big gripe. 2 impacts to the top of a turret can kill a tank. But Spear, based on an IRL AT weapon that can disable a tank specifically by targeting the turret where the armor is weakest but in HD2 it sometimes takes 2 shots
And it’ll be possible to fire much faster which is nice
Because it doesn't do Actual Top attack
it sort of launches up but then takes the most direct path
And here's the thing, it can one-shot a tank to the turret, if it hits the top at a near-perpendicular angle which
It tends not to
My hot take is it should have 2 lock-on tiers. The 1st tier is the regular lockon how it works now but fixed of course, and 2nd tier takes a few seconds more but the projectile will try to take the most direct path to a weakspot it's pointed at. So like straight on to eyes for hulks, top for bile titans, top for cannoner towers.
Probably not worth to implement to AH to considering the current lock-on is iffy as is and they've been at it for a while
Suggestion: alternate fire mode like other weapons have that alter the flight profile.
Just get it to Good Enough so players can get work done
Or at least a dumb fire option
e.g. shallow and high angle
Like the real Jav?
Better than what I suggested, even got firing mode menu to switch between
A random idea, it's in universe for Super Earth not to do this, but night vision scope toggle option would be neat
I had a breaker blow in my house right as a bot drop happened and a half-dozen Hulks dropped from a single ship.
Just gonna count that as a blessing in disguise.
Joel's getting serious, automatons are sabotaging US infrastructure
It doesn't need the help.
Somehow I'm the only person in this house who knows:
- Where the breaker box is.
- How to reset a breaker.
Isnt it like flip a switch down then up?
Unless you're using airplane circuit breakers in a house in which cause you just push in if they pop out
Yeah cause it ends up hitting the body of the tank instead of the turret
Since its locking onto the center of the chassis it ends up hitting it instead of the turret which has a lower hp pool
Yeah. You just turn it all the way off, then flip it back on.
I like airplane circruit breakers, the pop out if the fuse breaks and you just push them back in
If it pops out right as you push it in then you got a problem
If one keeps popping and you hold it in, it makes the problem component glow!
This is not OSHA approved
Also someone who's no longer at the company has tried that
The ol' "Landlord taped my fusebox shut" manuever
He used a plastic bit from who knows where to push a breaker switch in and keep it in so power didn't go out while he was working in the plane and could figure it out instead of like, bringing a flashlight.
He burnt ot a bunch of expensive lightbulbs
Each lightbulb is like $9 and a small plane has thousands and many just burnt out
I witnessed it myself, someone kept pushing it back in when it popped and then decided to hold it in while ground power was applied. I noticed a flash of white in my peripheral vision and when I looked there was an electrical fire in the panel.
:)
Turns out the breaker is blowing because my wife’s using a space heater and my new GPU has juuuuuust enough draw to tip it over.
Railgun unsafe mode my beloved.
love doing some missions in Helldivers
usually only do a few if i am playing alone but it's so fun
bots my beloved
still amazes me how well the game inspires that feeling of "humanity hell yeah" while also being very good satire of being a unthinking soldier working for a comically evil fascist government
kinda sucks we can't use more than one mech from what i can tell
i want to waste two of my slots on exosuits and i should have the super earth given right to do so
they honestly aren't even particularly that good from what i can tell but i like mechs so i want to double up
wait i think i might be wrong
hmm i don't seem to be able to pick more than one though
someone mentioned a few days ago that its buggy and you can only select 2 mechs in the first slots or something like that
that's weird
Apparnetly it's a perfomance issue?
there's something in the engine that makes Too Many Vehicles a bad thing
maybe they should spawn 3 less Bot tanks then
Ī vbery much doubt tanks and mechs are the same thing in the code base
i suspect Vehicles is very much a player facing specific designation
airburst rockets good
yeah airbursts fuck
doing helldive SOS rn and i am definitely going to bring more airbursts
Glad people are getting more airburst pilled
Airburst so good
Low CD and basically kills every non heavy bug in a breach
You see breach? Throw airburst and ignore it
nice, got kicked
i don't like playing bugs much but it still fucks for automatons
pretty game
That should not be a thing really
I feel like Helldivers should be just immune to damage once in the dropship or be vulnerable be also allowed to leave at any moment or even just go first person and shoot out the rear hatch
jumped into the ship and got blasted by a Hulk
I thought they patched that out? I remember that getting killed in the evac was quite common, but I can't think of it happening in the last month or so
Nope I think that's still a thing as of a few weeks ago unless it's bugged
Last night someone stole my railgun, promptly overcharged and exploded.
I'm still thinking about that. Why'd he do that?
didn't read the user manual
Wasn't it possible to survive the railgun unsafe mode exploding if you like had a shield pack, wore the heaviest armor, and stim'd?
Shield pack alone will save you on 7
I think shield pack can yeah
Does the railgun exploding only hurt you or has a small AoE?
Also wait why does the shield pack even work against an explosion from inside
Good point, I petition to make the shield pack make the railgun explosion even deadlier to everyone because it's containing the explosion
I think it doesn't but heavy armor, blast resistance, and Democracy Protects can
Blast Resist still feels like more than 50% reduction in damage but I shall not complain, really lets you build momentum off a Rocket Dev barrage
I think because currently it's only availiable on heavy armor? So you're already getting good damage resistance
In the timed shop? Never seen that, but that's a big consideration to spend super creds
I got the padded light armor for bugs and it's super neat
There’s been a blast resistant light armor in the supercreds shop, yeah
Haha yes! HAHA! YES!
<@&1206091872716595200> anyone wanna shoot some robits?
Give me a bit to finish this Hades run and sure!
Sounds good
i need caffiene but once aquired i can chute some rubots
I'm just coming out of a mission.
A7EE31256A65C913
I wouldn't mind more EMS stuff.
500kg mine
That was the anti-tank mine we didn't get, I bet.
Same comments I saw someone mention wanting an autocannon emplacement
The orbital minefield would be funny.
I need the friend code not the account code
9252-7012
Ugh, it's still doing the thing where it won't let me accept friend requests.
Can you send me yours?
yeah i want the HD1 Cannon emplacement back
Orbital minecraft just turns on a random stratagem beacon when stepped on
"380 coming in watch your distance"

Is that bottom right one a bouncing betty?
Oh is that guy with the mortars cooking again?
<@&1206091872716595200> 8665-4899 Let's go play in the snow.
The snow is fun!
You use recoiless rifle weapon because it's an excellent AT weapon
I use Recoiless Rifle cause the back blast kicks up snow, we are not the same
i am now an airburst rocket stan
it will kill something regardless of where you shoot
i like that a lot
I really should've tried it on Meridia
something will die
is it the enemy, is it you, maybe a teammate, who knows
but death will occur
It didn’t work so well for me on the special map
Enemies spawned in too close and it’d blow up the drills
Fair, I was mostly thinking of the extract segment
Anything that can clear those flocks out a little faster
Oh yeah it helps there but does almost nothing to get you there
I want a laser emplacement. Just push the button once and it never stops firing
Solo missions are fun if you play it like it's Metal Gear Solid V.
And also lower the difficulty a bit.
yeah i often do diff 4 when solo, it's pretty chill
Low difficulty solo is fun, ye
some interesting names in here
Eruptor's alt name was the JAR Phoenix
and its a 20mm gun
Autocannon fires "20mm APHET" ammo
EAT is 75mm HEAT warhead, while RR is 85mm
GL fires 40mm HE, while grenade pistol fires 40mm HEAT
Liberator fires 5.5x50mm bullets, base is full metal jacket, penetrator is penetrator, concussive is explosive. Tenderizer also fires the same
Adjudicator fires 8x60mm FMJ while reg MG fires 8x60mm AP
Dilligence fires 9x70mm FMJ, countersniper fires 9x70mm high velocity
Defender and Pummeler fire 12x25mm FMJ and stun respectively
Senator fires 13x40mm FMJ
Redeemer and Peacemaker fire 9x20 FMJ and Hollow Point respectively
Knight fires 9x20mm soft metal jacket
Dominator's gyrojets are 15x100mm
punisher series and break action are 10 gauge, breakers are 12 gauge
incendiary's variant are called "liberty fire"
HMG and AMR fire 12x100mm BCHP and EIT respectively
airburst RL fires 85mm rockets
also
but these all have the same stats (between the same type) atm
so placeholder
eg
theres also a ton of bullet types that arent being used too
and the other calibers are the same
also Railcannon is the only orbital with 10 AP (direct hit)
so theoretically you could toss a bunch at a gunship fab to kill it
I kinda wonder if some of these are like debug testers haha
given hellbomb explosion is 10 AP
Since its like "normal pistol version of every kind of bullet" it looks like
Nice to get calibers for a bunch of them though there's not a ton of surprises there I think
Aside from BCHP for the HMG? That seems so weird
also uh, for the people who think the arc resist armor will remain niche or useless...
Oh boy
so a hellbomb guarantees a kill on a gunship fab and it does 4000 damage
while the railcannon does 2000 damage
theoretically, you need 2 railcannons to kill a gunship fab
would need testing
Huh will it lock them?
I've never tried
But anything to handle the menace of gunship factories haha
no idea, but worst case assuming no enemies nearby itll still shoot the stratagem ball, so just need to throw it with the fab between the ball and the SD
also for arc lovers...
(still same values so placeholder)
I was wondering if they'd bring back the old MK system
I kinda hope they do, the upgrades were fun
The Railcannon will lock onto the nearest gunship if its in range. Which, considering the gunship fab spawns them, might make it a bit inconsisntent
Yeah. I think I might start doing these solo runs on lower difficulty to help train myself to get away from the mindset that I have to fight every single bot on the map.
Learning how to do the objectives and then run away sounds like a good skill to have to avoid ending up in the Infinite Berserker Vortex.
Oh, grief, yeah you do not fight everythign on the map esp on like sevens or stuff
It’s a good way to completely tank a mission that was going smoothly.
Who chooses to have a Kill Hunters mission during a bot MO?!
It's at least a pittance of Hunters.
I swear my friend is cursed. I haven't seen a single gunship in like two days. The instant I play with him, it's two double tower airbases.
This kind of thing always happens.
Ah yeah the classic "we're not giving you all the side objectives" setup
They're so brutal
Airbases are always the NUMBER ONE PRIORITY whenever I get on a map with them.
The second I see a gunship, I am all about killing that airbase.
I don't want that shit in my life, man.
Oh hey, I got a airbase and detector tower clump yesterday!
I’d rather have that than four airbase towers.
I plan to play HD2 again after a very long hiatus of not playing it when the big huge patch releases...
Woo!
Remember to bring med/light infiltrator armor, the detection radius reduction is huge value and you can use map markers proactively to scout where enemies and patrols are from afar
Are illuminate in yet
no
I wonder if the big huge patch will bring the Illuminate
No it’s just a balance and fixes patch
a lot of illuminate stuff is already in the files and we're in the point of the datamined stuff that is very close to the illuminate intro stuff, so im expecting it soon
with the patch having a lot of hidden stuff
honestly id expect it to be a big pushed hyped update cycle
rather than a stealth drop
can confirm I love this armor type for those reasons; I've 'mapped' route through extraction from one side of the map to the other with minimal skirmish thanks to being able to ping pathways between enemy patrols
plus there's something to be said about the detection radius reduction and the ability to flank enemies already focused on your allies with it.
It made for a surprisingly decent armor to use against the bugs at times with a flamethrower of all thing???
My friends hate using the map in terms of enemy tracking and it makes me crazy
It's so fast and efficient
YES
and neat
as my main trick would be to flank to flame enemies with less risk of accidently clipping my allies with the fire while also laying down a firewall making it harder for enemies to progress toward allies. Combined with the shield generator it's also decently durable
(against bot I tend to instead fall back on the Antimateriel rifle for that massive zoom range however)
I REALLY like it when we're at the end of a mission trekking across the map and I get to be in the lead, using proactive map pings to scout enemy patrols and literally be a pathfinder for the team to avoid all the dangers
That stuff makes me feel so good and cool
And really just the entire job of being the "situational awareness" guy who identifies where enemies are coming from and directing the squad to prepare for flanks
I’m not sure what to call the niche I’ve fallen into. I focus on locking down heavies like Devastators and Berserkers and to a lesser extent killing Hulks and Tanks.
I’m almost useless against a Factory Strider or Bile Titan though.
You're in railgun brain, yeah? I'm the same, my focus is
- killing medium enemies (devastators, brood commanders, spewers)
- controlling small enemies (especially flankers)
- killing large enemies as necessary (hulks > bile titans > chargers > tanks)
Railgun kills anything medium, primary weapon of choice for small stuff (Pummeler, breaker incendiary, liberator, etc), and stuns + railgun for hulks/chargers or stratagems for others (orbital precision, 500kg)
My regular group has someone who's very into using RR and I often carry an ammo backpack for them to teamload
At least with that person we have a very good unspoken synergy and can tag team super well without much discussion or delay
Like how one time they were using a flamethrower so to handle a large bug breach I used my Pummeler to staggerlock the whole front line so they could roast everything
I usually leave heavy units to my teammates
If there is a hulk i sprint the other way
Stun Grenade+AntiMat Rifle has made hulks a little sad, that thing handles SO MUCH
I'm a high explosive and Airburst rockets kinda girl myself nowadays
Everything but the heavies will die
I can't decide on a Bot Primary, bounce between a few
Sickle, Dominator, Plasma Punisher, Scorcher..
Liberator, Pummeler/Defender, Sickle, and Scorcher are all very generally good vs bots. The shotguns are too, both breaker and punisher variants
That Strider buff making them take more than 2 scorcher shots sometimes, criminal
To be fair it DID trivialize them so I understand why
And it makes sense for shaped plating to help handle explosives but c'maaahn
.... please tell me that I'm eeing wrong and that we didn't just unlock Wasat for the major order and there isn't really only 1554 helldivers on the planet to try to finish the final major objective of our major order
okay that must be a mistake because the Ymir sector where Wasat is reports 43k helldivers
Okay, that feel more like it
that's really really weird that the world itself only report about 1k players
So uh
is the Dominator just good or what
I'm enjoying me my not-bolter and how it staggers devastators when it doesn't outright headshot them
Not great against bugs though, can't handle the sheer volume of them it seems.
If we just conquered, people are finishing and moving.
the Dominator is great, while true it doesn't one shot devs it sounds powerful and has kick making you feel the power and it can one tap normal bots to the chest (world eaters take more but those are world eaters) just remember to have a secondary with more ammo and to compensate for its downside of a low turn rate.. sorry for the long rant but needed a distraction from stuff and i do love this weapon c:
if you want armour pen on bugs the lib penetrate is a nice compromise,it still gives an option to be semi effective on hordes but mostly take high rpm weapons to mow them down.. just make sure to ask if anyone has anything against more armoured bugs, tho going as the teams demo unit ain't bad either
Ironically i prefer it the other way around - i use the Dominator into bugs very happily, because i dont need crowd clear for bugs (Flamethrower main), but it's fantastic clean up tool.
into bots i find it too inflexible and prefer the Plasma punisher
we do have few of those, but i think the original had a lever action rifle, would like one of those for sure
Ooo yeah lever action for sure
Not for any gameplay reasons
Lever actions are just cool imo lol
It is great and I love using it on bots, but like you said I think it is real bad on bugs
Wh
What is the bread reaction for-
the automatons have more and more devilish strategies by the day
Thursday probably.
13th
Confirmed Thursday from the discord
