So, my game is going well.
Players are about to break into the location where an experiment person with a bunch of spirits stuffed into them and then smuggle that person across the city (2 districts, basically).

But I'm not sure what size clock will determine progress towards getting across the city. I know they have a 6-pip clock for alerting the local spirit wardens (ticks when suspicion is a consequence), a 6-pip clock for the host's body overloading and exploding (ticks when physical difficulty is a consequence), and a 4-pip clock for their distraction to be finished (decreases any time they take an action, expiration lowers security). Anyone have thoughts?

It's a little weird figuring out consequences for nearly every roll, but it does help ramp up the drama.

I think its comparable rules but the more pressing nature of regular combat leads to harm being worse.

Keira Lee wasn't supposed to be on the streets like this. She was supposed to be going to university...she'd won a scholarship offered by Xantara Pharm for Tycherosian students under the banner of Yugo Xantara reaching out to his home nation. It was so good she couldn't believe it. So, of course, it was too good to be true. What she'd thought was a cram school turned out to be a matter of horrific experimentation under the oversight of Canden Xantara, making use of the fact that no one would miss random people from Tycheros and the idea that the fabled demon blood of the nation could replace their rapidly dwindling supplies of leviathan blood.

She's not sure how long she was there...testing, experimentation and 'lessons' designed to create obedient lab crew who would happily hand their blood over to the company as simply another part of service. She's lost count of the number of pills she coughed back up in her room, trying to keep her head clear and free of them. Eventually, she got a chance - One of the more promising test subjects went into an unexpected cardiac arrest, sending the lab into chaos. In the middle of that mess, she hid her horns under a surgical cap and slipped out with the support team who had just delivered a crash cart into the lab.

Now she's got no money, no passport and no record. The one advantage she has is that the claims of demon blood are perhaps less mythical than most would think. She can feel *something* swirling in her veins, hurt and angry, ready to lash out. She's going to burn Xantara to the ground and choke Canden Xantara to death on his own pills.
