With the huge emphasis that Ch2 put on Dec, paired with the Spamton Sweepstakes, it makes sense they’re setting up to delve further into the mystery. Seeing as it’s all kind of linked to Asgore, I think it makes the most sense for him to be around. Doubly so if Toriel is in the dark world. Both narratively because he’s worried for her and Kris, and as a means to play those two off each other and bring the Dreemur family conflict into the spotlight

She knows she’s not supposed to, but maybe in a moment of desperation she decides screw it?
Anyway, holiday themed world. All the worlds have a bend that to me relate to childhood memories and the like (toys/computers/tv), so Christmas (or general holidays) makes sense to me. Could explore the Holidays perspective of the falling out with the Dreemurs and the dissappearence of Dec. Rudy as a companion? Maybe we met Noelle’s mom? Further Noelle-Susie stuff?

||While at the holiday house, instead of talking to Susie, Noelle ask Kris if they can talk alone. You get shoved in the vents and then you progress. You eventually reach to Noelle’s room where you eavesdrop on their conversation.
Noelle starts talking about how relieved they are with Kris, how inbetween chapter 3 and 4 Kris while disconnected from us told her how stealing her watch was just a bad prank, and that Berdly would be fine. Her main point of relief however, was that Kris sounded like Kris again, and not the weird voice she’s been hearing for the past few days.
She then asks Kris a question, and the question box appears, allowing us to escape the vents via collision breaking. You then repossess Kris. And you watch her shudder as you say proceed, no longer in Kris’s voice. You then show her repeatedly you can read her thoughts, and that her dream wasn’t a dream, that it all happened, that she killed all those darkners and Berdly.
You then pull out the thorn that the thorn ring turned into. You tell her to equip it. She tells you repeatedly that this must be a misunderstanding, that it couldn’t have been real. You eventually grab her hand and for the ring on her. You watch as what appears to be her soul, represented as a red rose, die.
The game cuts to the bathroom, as Kris throws you in a trash can and start to beat you in it. Eventually they’re forced to put you back inside themselves as they’re told they need to leave however.||

I managed to get both chapters in with my old save file ||but missed both secret bosses, though that's alright because I never defeated the secret bosses for either first chapters either.||
||The first time I obviously fucked up from the S-rank requirement, and while I did S-rank the second time, the second I saw that the real minigame had a level bar I assumed I fucked up pacifist and had to reload. Plus the wording from the guy was giving me strong snowgrave vibes so I was already mentally halfway out, lmao
And for the 4th chapter, I didn't remember to finish the piano puzzle and only found one of the pieces after the piano was gone, and only because the judgment bell told me there was an enemy I hadn't even met, let alone recruited.||
I think at this point I'll just maintain my first save file as a first playthrough save, then once all chapters near completion I'll do a max completion save on the third slot.

||I think their reason is probably to save Dess. Kris clearly has been miserable for years now, growing distant from their friends and interest. Their brother is gone, their parents are divorced, and their old friend aren’t the same anymore. Especially with the themes of returning to the past in chapters 3 and 4, I think their goal is to save Dess to make everything normal again. Like how it was back when they were happy||

chapter 3 egg is acquired by ||going left while hovering over the CroakOnX act while you have the ticket from the nowhere room. To solve the first puzzle in the nowhere room, you need to use Susie to throw the blue block between the plants on the other side of the water in the lancer dig puzzle||
oh and to get to the nowhere room, ||stand in the searchlight on the outskirts south of the green room and tell the remote guy you’re going nowhere||
