OSR has the first mission at LL0 and the second mission at LL1, my idea was to continue things after that and one of my players even drew her own goblin mech for the campaign.
Due to some stuff I won't be able to continue after we finish OSR but we just finished mission 1 and went to LL1 so I've been thinking of leveling them up to LL2 instead so they can get their custom frames for the later half of the campaign and use their custom art. How should I rebalance the encounters if I do this?
For context there are 3 players, one wants to go for drake, one wants to go for goblin and one wants to go for monarch.

Tbh I’d just keep the same
I've been thinking of letting them be LL2 but with mech skills for LL1 for some lower numbers overall, would not even that be necessary?

lancer's npcs are balanced on a tier by tier basis, not an LL by LL basis
The second mission as is also kind of trends on the hard side of content so it’s definitely fine to just leave it I think
You could always use a bit more enemies if you feel like it's easy, in my game the second mission has been probably a bit easier? But that's mostly my fault I think haha. I'd just experiment with reinforcements if it feels too easy or whatever.

I recently did the following for my LL2 players (my title says level 3 because I forgot lancer starts at 0, lol) and they did fine (though they did start the mission with using the Exotic from the end of Solstice Rain to blast a path/ instakill the priest. #1150220338412662854 message
