Do you want your homebrew to have the same fancy style as the Lancer Core book? Do you want a simple command to generate a whole mech stat page, NPC, or even Ship from Battlegroup? I'll bet you do! Take a look at the Field Guide to Lancer Field Guides

The pdf below is produced using, and describes how to use, the Lancer Field Guide package for LATEX. It makes it simple to create a document in the format of the official Lancer content.

The zip file contains

  • the FieldGuide style file
  • the pdf explaining how to use it (created using the style)
  • the tex file that created the pdf (and the scribbly images)
  • a blank tex file for your own project
  • the font files you need

Several fixes to spacing and minor formatting bugs.
Added Features:
\subsection* command allows subsection to start on left or right pages.
\subsubsection* command does not add self to table of contents. Good for repetitive things like SITREP in encounters.
ToC Type argument for \LancerFrame \LancerNPC and \LancerShip commands that allows you to override default ToC settings. Example would be if you have a single Mech, it's overkill to create a double facing section page to have just one item under it.
