Chapter 5's fire gate can reach to other timelines, that's how feather's resurrection works. If a PC goes into the portal you can do all sorts of fun things. The Crone can and should be able to be aware of what's going on at other tables (that the GM is aware of). Probably knows as much about what's on pilot net as the Gm does. Act two has: (gonna separate the spoiler)||amogus||The timewave in the HA arc which can explicitly cross timelines. There's even an idea of a pocket dimention full of lokis and switchs from the glasscage experiment, trapped there. Vex agreed with me there's at least one Kraken in there. There should probably be a Charlotte too, given how things went when bunzi played through that arc in Stron's game... and then theres act 3, which ends with:||balls obliterated||a literal multiverse combat of every SRT in every timeline fighting every Andros, an infinity of rising angels fighting for calliope against an infinity of demons. ||our GM is also a smart and evil motherfucker (/pos), so trying to overheat him just leads to Capella stabilising with one of his turns the next round - and so help you god if you don't get enough heat off before his turn arrives, because he will burn you for so very much||

So Pear Bradford is a cowboy. When the player brought me the concept it was just "Space Cowboy / Bounty Hunter". He added the backstory of following a bounty to calliope and giving up (originally the excuse was "fuck it anybody that'd come to a place like this has enough problems")

But at it's core, Space Cowboy is the whole aesthetic.

Right from session one we learned that he had a "trick" on standby to reinforce and really drive home that aesthetic: Horse Facts. the player had a huge list of them on hand, and would bring them up whenever possible. sometimes totally forced, sometimes working well in the context. Sometimes even just filling a conspicuous silence.

The thing about the horse facts is though that it makes it very clear that Pear knows NOTHING about horses.

This started out kinda corny and even a bit distracting. But at the same time, Pear was trying so hard to fit them in that the earnest desire for friendship and conenction came through and it became an endearing trait.

In chapter 4: ||We got a vision of an alt-timeline where Pear never left the agrarian world he was born on. He settled down, started a family. In that scene his son encounters a wild horse and it spits acid over his legs before Pear can come to his aid. That scene served as the final punchline for all the horse facts: They're true. At least for the things on his homeworld that he calls "horses"...||

Luckily the starting equipment is the strongest in the game so you can really optimize the fight, especially without attrition
